What happens if family got F4 visa, tickets done, 165$ immigrant fees paid, and principal beneficiary dies just before 10 days of travel ?

Hiiii guys....!!! I got visa...!!! Now, my confusion is that do I required to carry the X-ray films with me when I travel to USA ??? Do I require them at Port of Entry ? Should I put it in a hand bag or baggage ?

No it is not private organisation..! It is clearly mentioned that government shutdown which will be applied from 1st Oct will effect the visa process...!

What is this $165 is all about??? Do we also need to pay this??? In my interview letter they have not mentioned about this fee..! So, do I need to pay this???

Got the call letter..! As I have already been interviewed once, this time no specific interview date, I can go on any business day with necessary documents...! yeah.............!

Vietnam does not fall under Indian region so do not predict on the basis of Vietnam

...it is totally physical..

Adjustment of Status is for filers who are already physically present right now in US and would appear within their service center to obtain a Visa and adjust their present Visa Status..

They didn't mention regarding interviewed cases but they had stated like this:

"Applicant is under 21 using his or her adjusted age and then filed for adjustment of status during the one-year window before visa retrogression." (which is applicable to you)

"The subsequent visa retrogression will not affect that child; his or her 2A status is locked in. It does not matter when the visa becomes available again or how long it takes to complete the adjustment process."

So, I think you are CSPA covered as per my understanding.

Once again I am asking this, may be somebody can help me out..! what is the effect of retrogession on CSPA? Many people say that CSPA age gets locked when retrogession occurs, but still I am finding any official document on this..!

If your PD had been current before the retrogression,then your age was automatically locked.

At that time I was 25, now I am 28, so I am worried now..!

u no need to worry...u r covered under cspa...u will definitely get your visa......but,tell me when u was interviewed last time......did ur name was mentioned in that interview letter or not ???????

How about you? I believe if your PD is July 18th 2001, you should receive I/L,too.

A bunch of vietnamese people have received their I/L already.

yes that is true, still i have not got the I/L, i am waiting for the visa bulletin, once it is out, I will mail to mumbai consulate

Person in my neighbor with priority date 25 Jun 2001 got interview letter dated on 19 september 2013

Why everybody is so curious about Vietnam? Does the same thing apply to Indian region also???
