There is no such thing as a "local service center". The NBC is sending our petitions to one of three service centers based on workload capacity. You will find out in a week or so which one yours is being sent to.
Do not confuse this with local field offices, which USCIS previously sent them to, but does not anymore.
Anyone can edit it. Jump in and contribute!

Ignore that message. USCIS is sending out the petitions to one of three service centers based on their workload capacity, not petitioner residence. At least this time they are attempting to balance the workload, unlike the disaster in local field offices.

Anyone can edit or comment on this spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Anpi244OAt_IdGJxVU9tVVpXRkVZVlVMcjVwMGowOUE&usp=sharing
If you need to edit, just change the information. The totals will be updated, except for NOA2, which is broken.
NOTE: Feel free to fix NOA2 totals! Graphs are not set up yet. Feel free to set them up as well. You can also add different kinds of analysis. This is a team effort!

A contact of mine is meeting with the state legislature this week. Some congressmen will be there as well. I'm trying to get a word in for us to see if at the very least if it's possible for someone to be held responsible for the mess we're in. Naturally, this is not the subject of the meeting, but my contact will get a word in for us, at least off to the side. The main point I will ask my contact to make: 1. abysmal processing times for I-130; 2. the LIFE act (K-3 visa).
Everyone needs to use their contacts to find a avenue for us to get noticed! Keep pushing until someone at USCIS feels the pressure!

    March filers:
Here is the spreadsheet for transfers on Google docs. As you can see, there is a lot of key information missing. If you see any key information (transfer, location, NOA2) that you know to be incorrect, let me know by leaving a comment on the doc. I would provide an editable document that we could collaborate on, but as I mentioned before, some of the Excel 2010 functions do not work properly on Google Spreadsheets.

Another disappointing week. This is shaping up to be local office fiasco of 2013, v. 2.0. Sure, you may argue that USCIS has transferred a bunch of files, but that's really no different than before: dumping a bunch of files on another office regardless of their capacity, and then hope that they adjudicate themselves.
    Not impressed.

Didn't go as planned. Let's try that again.
March filers! Here's the breakdown for transfers!

It's from a spreadsheet I put together. Anyone have a solution for a breakdown in the functions on Google Docs so we can make a team effort on this?
*not reported refers to those who have been transferred but don't yet know which service center.

I've got a spreadsheet going, but the functions breakdown when uploaded to Google Docs. Any solutions to allow us to collaborate on this?

Add one more to the list: cpkuta88
It doesn't look like all files are transferred. Some are left behind. How they plan on handling it will play out in the next couple of weeks, we hope.

We welcome all new information. As a collective, we have much, much more potential to accomplish our common goal. I am especially intrigued by number 4. So they DO know how furious we are. All that is missing: unity.
Remember: Don't get mad; get organized. (Actually, I'm already mad. Now trying to get organized.)

You can change it from 11+ months to 13 months, and maybe refer to our year-and-a-half separation rather than two years.
I am also in, but I suggest push the date back a bit to see if we can get a more coordinated effort on sending it. Also, can you provide a fax number and email address to make it really convenient? I'm abroad, so I will fax it as many times as I can using an online tool that can send five free faxes per day. It's called faxzero.

Stay tuned. Our committee is in the planning stage of something that just may get the attention we need. Every small lead we find has the potential to lead us to the big breakthrough that we need. There are interest groups who just may take up our cause to their own advantage.
We also need numbers. In the meantime, see you on Twitter. Follow the committee there and retweet for us. If every VJer in the IR/CR-1 forum would follow us, that would mean hundreds more followers, thereby attracting more followers from outside of VJ.

They really owe it to us for putting us on the back burner for so many months. I can say the word "owe" because we all paid in full, but so far have received abysmal service.

The core of our problem is management. What little we do know about adjudicators is that they are motivated by incentives to work faster. Management has decided that we are not priority, and will not change it unless pressured into doing so. As long as we accept what they give, why should they do otherwise? Someone else is the squeaky wheel...

If you are expecting anything before six months, then you had better sit down before reading the following:
The backlog of I-130 petitions, as of July, 2013, reached more than 300,000. Now it is likely to be near 400,000. Unless I-130's start getting priority treatment, we're all in for a looooong wait.

Well, we just don't know yet. The good news is that it cannot possibly be worse than the NBC, if that gives you any comfort.

USCIS is not taking the backlog seriously. Another two approvals today? The backlog just continues to get worse...
