  1. i notice your NOA1 date is much earlier than mine, how come they haven't approve yours as yet and i have seen dates that came after yours and mine has been approved ... that's very strange don't you think ?

If only I knew, then I wouldn't be so sick of tired of those people working over there. I understand that there must be piles and piles of petitions that they're going through but I just can't get my mind wrapped around people in July getting approved already and I can't get a service request. smdh.....

  2. Even with an info pass appointment it isn't going to make USCIS adjudicate your petition any faster. If they are working on May 28 the only thing you can do is wait until i is your time. You can check here for processing times https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do;jsessionid=abcwjPb_k8bsZ_X7QWzVt If they get beyond the date of your NOA1 and you haven't been contacted then you can put in a service request

So I can put in a service request after December 28th of 2012 or January 6th of 2013. I thought you can request for a service request after the 6months mark which I am well past that. It'll be 7 months come the 28th of December according to their May 28th date. I'm pretty confused.

  3. Hi all,

Today marks my 200th day waiting on my noa2. After calling the uscis and getting through to a tier 2 officer, still I can't request for a service request outside normal processing time since VSC is "still" working on petitions from May 28th of this year. I tried getting my senator involved but they couldn't do anything about it and told me to wait another 30 days.....I tried keeping myself busy but I keep drifting back onto thinking about my petition. I'm just running low on my patience now and don't know what to do next or how the end result will be. To those of whom got a service request go through, how come you were able to get one? What is considered "outside" a normal processing time? Please help and thanks in advance.

  4. I am at CSC and went to my congressman at the 5 month mark. I had to send the permission form along with a letter of explanation of why I was asking their help and the next day, I received action. I got an RFE but it was my fault (I left 2 boxes unchecked). Congressman and Senators have people in their offices that are there to specifically help people like us. I think that if you have waited for the amount of time that the statutes have set, then you are entitled to ask for help. That doesn't mean that it will happen but you sure can ask. Sometimes "The squeeky wheel gets the grease"

I absolutely agree with you. Hopefully, if I were to receive an RFE, it's as simple as human error and not anything else. I hope to hear something from there either today or tomorrow since the person I spoke with wasn't working yesterday when I dropped off the privacy release form. So, I'm assuming after you checked mark those two boxes, you received your NOA2 right?

    Hi,

    We had our NOA1 on 16th May...still waiting..... :(

    Regards.

You should contact your senator too because that's way beyond the 6month mark. :) Good luck!

    :help:Hang in there.

I'm trying my best. hahah going alittle crazy though, watching the ever-so-slow VSC move. :P

Agree! Don't get too nervous.

    Thanks. I'm trying. :)

  5. Here my ordeal:

I sent our I129F in June and received an NOA1 on the 4th of June 2012. So far, it's past the 6 months mark. I called USCIS last friday and requested a service request but the man that I spoke to couldn't get the request to go through so he suggested me to write an email to them and wait for at least 10 business days for them to respond back. Well, I decided that I'm going to get my senator involved. But after doing some research, I'm not sure on which one to contact either the U.S. Senator Bob Corker or U.S. House Representative of district 6, Diane Black. Please help and thanks for the help in advance. Also, for those of whom went this route, I'd like to receive some input from you guys if possible.

  6. I've heard it all through the day. I got mine at 11am. I've heard people saying they get them as late as 9pm.

Thanks for the info. I'm feeling somewhat lucky today so hopefully, today is my day. ahhaa *crossing my fingers* :)

Only a guess but typical Fed Gov Core Working hours are 8am-4:30pm

I would expect an email / text to come between those hours Eastern Standard Time of course

How about it? Anyone out there receive their email / text before or after those hours?

Oh and I have not seen any silly questions here

Silly questions are the ones not asked

Geez...I wish they'd pick up their workload and kick into 6th gear since it appears they're stalling somewhere in between. Hopefully today is my day. :)
