    my wife got her visa in 7 days. they said it might take 14 days.

      Just checked the case status. His visa has been issued :) alhumdulillah.

    We were put on AP... :/ and were given a 221g form. Which says he needs to update his passport. We recieved all of our original documents. They also kept his passport. :) hopefully this is a good sign.

      That means you are put on AP.... And your in the waiting list to get your visa..... :) in sha Allah you will get it soon!

      I don't think nic card is important... As long as your passport is valid. Also, stop stressing! Yes my husband did get one blue and one green form. On the blue form it says what documents you need to submit.

      Bcos they kept his passport... And asked him to submit a new new as soon as possible. And as for your case... I think your process is complete... No all you do is wait for your visa. If they gave your original documents back... That's a good thing.

      I know yaar!! I yelled at him so much. He went to make his passport in sha Allah it will take 2-3 more days. Then he will submit it to the embassy so hopefully by the time I get to Pakistan he will have a visa. Btw a very big congrats to you! :)

    My wife visa was approved. We are very happy. I didn't go with my wife to the embassy, eventhought i was outside the embassy.

      I actually got my letter for interview today... And as for the DS230... I really don't know... I had my lawyer take care of everything.... But I had my paper work completed 10/12/12.... Maybe it had to do with the priority date...

      Thanks guys!! We'll def need it. And as of right now I really don't know whether I'll be able to attend of not because of work... :/ but in sha Allah I will Definetly be rooting for my husband!! :) and hopefully both my husband and your wife get approved! :)
