  1. I am in the process of filling out the paperwork for my parents (I-130). My son currently lives with them there( he is a US citizen and was there with them for the past year). I would like to know if it is possible to apply for a visitor visa for my father as well. I wanted to bring him here because my son is used to being with him. Would that cause a problem if i bring him on a visitor visa as well as applying for him with the I-130.???

  2. My husband had his interview today and they scheduled him for a re- interview. They said they need documentation that the two of us are still together.

the only problem is that all of our mail go to out post office box ( which is a different address than where our lettre came to) and all the utilities are in my fathers name,.....\

What do I do ?? Someone help me please... im so0o concerned and worried.....

  3. entirely depends on where you are having your interview/ oath. Some few places do same day oath ceremonies, most have a 6-8 week wait, but it can be less (mine was 9 days), or much more (esp in large places like New York and LA). Have a look through the monthly filers threads in this forum for people who filed in recent months in the same office you did for info.

How do i go about that?? Im not that comp savvy

  4. I was scheduled for an appointment in Jan of 2012. I was not in the country when they sent me the letter. I then after sent them all the required documentation of where I was and showed that I was not in the country and I could not make it. I sent all the boarding passes and such. They said they were gonna contact me by mail. I use the facilty in holtville, Long Island. Does anyone know hoe long I would have to wait to get another interview date??
