Wow, finally! I have received an email today that my interview was scheduled and few hours later the document showed up online. My interview date is January 3rd in Orlando, FL. Congrats on the date! Orlando is taking a while to process as I see. I have filed 3 days after you did, thanks to your post I have some hope so I will be stalking the uscis site now 😂

No problem. I couldn’t find much info on whether or not they accept early walk in in Orlando , so decided to give it a shot. They guard had a little attitude, but it’s ok, didn’t ruin my day 😉🤣

Tried for early walk in biometrics yesterday in orlando, got turned around 😂 So I guess I just have to wait till 26th.

Alternatively, if you are going somewhere where there is another USCIS office, you can walk in there, too.
Funny, I checked my online portal 3 times today and now again and I see my letter

You can usually do biometrics on a different day from what I am reading here, so it’s not set in stone.
I have read you could do walk in, but you need the letter for appointment. I wanted to go out of town for 2-3 weeks. I guess I can always come back earlier. I just saw there are few folks who got notification the biometrics where scheduled last Saturday, so I wanted to check whether or not anyone had their letter in the document tab.

Hey guys, I am pretty new to the forum. I have filed my N400 based on 5 years residency on 4/4/18. On Thursday I got the email that my case was accepted and on Saturday morning got the email that my biometrics were scheduled , but the PDF is still not showing.. I have to decide whether I can leave for a trip tomorrow or not. Has anyone got their biometrics letter in document tab? How long does it usually take?

I had my interview in Orlando on the 3rd. Everything went well, the officer who seemed a little rough at the beginning, lightened up once we got to his office and overall the experience great. I wasn’t asked for any documents except for the green card and passport. It lasted roughly 30-40 minutes. Can’t remember the questions asked but if you read the booklet a couple of times you will be fine.
Right after the interview I was asked if I can attend the naturalization ceremony on the 10th of January, I said yes and I was asked to sit back down in the waiting room. A couple of minutes later the lady called my name and gave me an invitation to the ceremony and explained how and when to fill it out. That’s it. Don’t be nervous, people. Everything is going to be great.
