  1. I am married to a man I thought was the man of my dreams. Who cheated on me since day one of our married life. However, I wasn't able to prove it till on the day of our 3rd wedding anniversary. I thought I will surprise him with lots of scrumptious foods on the table and secretly inviting his close friends too. We waited till he showed up outside our door step kissing a woman. I was so embarrassed that all visitors saw it too and felt sorry for me.

And so after that I finally decided to call it quits after 4 years of his lies. I just don't understand why some people or a man would pursue you, made you chose between him and your career, made you move to a foreign land just to fool you and step on you over and over.

My question is this, since we're married for 4 years already and maybe next year I might file citizenship will the divorce affect my citizenship? Actually, I don't know really if I will file cause. I don't know what's the major importance of citizenship while I do have the 10 yr green card anyway and can just renew it or file citizenship within the next 5 years perhaps. But I'm wondering what would be the effect of a divorce on filing a citizenship?

Are those websites about do it yourself divorce forms legit? I wonder if someone can enlighten me more about it.

I checked on my case status also, and it appeared the same statement as yours "Your Current Case Status for Form CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Then Your Case Status On February 27, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283"

Does that mean we have been approved? If so, how long does it take for the card to be in the mail?

    Thanks

cool! when you see this on their website was there circles above that note? mine has 4 circles and none is highlighted. So it's making me confuse.

Typical. It's just telling you that the things are going slowly.

Unless you are approaching 1-year mark since your ROC receipt notice date, all you can do is WAIT.

    thanks. im approaching 8 months.

Congratulations - you are approved and your card will come later. Just chill and celebrate.

You think so? Im nervous. None of the circle is highlighted.

    CONGRATS!

Got a question. When you got approved and went online to check it did they update the stage or highlighted decision circle there?

I got something like this - - - - -On February 27, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. But none of the circle is highlighted. So i dont know what that means for me.

I've had my biometrics done on August, been waiting since then. I checked in the website and they add 30 more days of waiting... This is really messing me up. I was planning to join the military this spring so I could start 3rd year of college this fall. Looks like everything will be delayed. Sighs

    hi!

when u checked yours did u see circles being highlighted already like if it's accepted, initial review, decision or post decision activity?

  6. I received a text message on my cell phone stating i have to go online coz i got an update on my case status. So when i logged in to USCIS site and typed my receipt number this is what got ..

The top portion says Expect a 30-45-day delay between when your application or petition is filed and when your information is available in Case Status Online, depending on the volume of applications USCIS receives. Then head text of the box is

Your Current Case Status for Form CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Then Your Case Status On February 27, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283..

Now on top of this note there are 4 circles Acceptance, Initial Review, Decision and Post Decision Activity. None of the circle is highlighted. Last December 2012 when I checked my case it was on initial review already. Now none of the circle is highlighted.

Please enlighten me on this fellow VJers.

    THANKS!

  7. hi everybody!! we end up gseeing a judge on our i-751! does anybody have any expirience with this!!! we are merried for like 7 years,we went to 5-6 interviews and the last tim the io was rude and reject every single proof ,irs official stempet transcripts, joint bank accounts even the debit cards --he told us you made this at home !! we had a lawyer too .....but.....we end up talking to judge !! any advise is welcomed

Can you tell me more about your situation and the IO's statement was strong that your documents were made at home? Gosh, that's so rude. I hope you'll share in details all of your interview experiences plus the docs you submitted and give me a detailed story of what happened during the 1-2nd interview. this will help us all to be enlightened. This is the first time I read such a devastating ROC interview with super rude IO.

    Thanks

  8. Because they can.

Look if not all the government agencies these days are nothing but slow, bad tempered and do whatever the heck they want to, as long as they have the "I'm the one that decides your fate" mentality.

However I'd say it's pretty abnormal. Maybe they made a decision just to approve your ROC while they know the fingerprint is going to take LONGER than your ROC, so might just well get it out of the way and come back to screw with it later.

Heck I'm in 10+ months (almost 11) and still nothing with my ROC. We even have a member that had 3 interviews and waited 3 years with no results.

Just glad you have it. If I was you I'll go do the bio. again.

THREE INTERVIEWS???? How come? Is it very possible to get 3 interview in ROC?
