I got my interview date today - 20th of august!!! Scary but excited!!!

I don't know the reason, but apparently this has been the case for some other members...I guess this also goes to that "where do socks go in the dryer" list

Well we just also received a letter from NVC by the way:) So I guess we did get send to the NVC:D! haha

Can I ask you about the first paragraph of your NOA2? (oh oh, I sound like the NVC people ) is it saying that your case "has been sent to the NVC" or "has been sent to the embassy/consulate"?

Haha that is fine:0 But...Oh....my ....goodness haha I just looked and it says Consulate...so I guess it never went to NVC:0! Why is that you think?

Hey Guys!!

For all the ones that are waiting for NVC to process their petitions. Don't let it get you down what they say when you call them!! My fiance called a couple of days ago and asked if they received the petition, they asked for the case number and everything but I don't think they really checked it...They told him to call back in 20 days, well...last friday I got a letter in the mail from my Embassy that they received our case!!!

So stay positive:D! Good luck everybody

Just to let everyone know!! We got approved yesterday at night haha!! It is such a weird but great feeling when it finally happens! I hope everybody soon will get the same news!! And get to plan their weddings and travel!!!

Ooooh THE first dates;) haha Fun to read how everyone's date went!

We first met 8 year ago when I was in America for a year in Highschool and playing softball. So "technichally" our first date would probably be the haunted house on Halloween, how scary those things can be!!. But thinking I was only 17 back then and since I went back to The Netherlands it took awhile before we seriously started dating again:) That was on a trip to California, beautiful it is over there! On our way back, the last night we decided to make serious steps:) and that on a night someones been in our room and stole his laptop and all haha;) still was a fun last night:D

I've been following this topic for awhile:) Makes the waiting a little less dreadful this way!.... But I haven't posted anything yet, so here it is!
