Does everyone have experience with AOS? How long does it take approximately and can anyone get AP? I feel like this visa process is so complicated..finally completed the K1 hurdle, and I can't even properly plan for my wedding because I have to figure out AOS.

Thanks! I had to postpone my interview until December because I have a few trips planned between Canada and the States and didn't want to risk getting denied entry as a regular tourist at the border. Let me know how everything goes for you.

Also, you can space your medical and interview for as short or long as you want, but remember that your medical results are good for only 1 year and if you don't want to redo your medical for your AOS, then you want to keep it as close to your interview as possible so that the results will still be valid.

VeeNDee - The medical clinic hasn't gotten back to me yet. They were supposed to call me this weekend, but I guess they got busy. I had thrown out a September date to them before and they said that would work. However, I'm going to be booking for the end of the year now so I don't expect to have any issues.

at long last: I emailed the medical clinic yesterday, but I haven't heard back yet. I will keep you posted. All I know is that Vancouver has TONS of interview dates available and the next available date (as of yesterday) is Monday August 20th.

I was wondering if you could tell me about your POE experience in Calgary? I've been searching for reviews on this forum, but can't seem to find anything.
