  1. Finally have time to put in some details about my interview, my appointment was at 8:25am I arrived at 8:03am stayed in the car and studied a bit more, didn't go in until 8:15am, it was 9am when I was done. The 6 questions asked at my interview were:

    1. What group of people was taken to America and sold as slaves?

    2. What is the name of the Vice President of the United States now?

    3. How many amendments does the Constitution have?

    4. What is the highest court in the United States?

    5. Why did the colonists fight the British?

    6. Who makes federal laws?

After this I was ask to read "who can vote?" And then write "citizens can vote."

Then the officer congratulated me that I passed and asked me if I am available this coming Thursday for the Oath Ceremony, I said yes immediately and she walked me out and asked me to wait for my name to be called again to get information regarding the ceremony, I didn't expect it to be the actual notice!!! I received the Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony in person after a 30 minute wait. So no more waiting for the notice in the mail, what a relief knowing that I didn't get the notice for my interview. My Oath Ceremony is on June 2 at 10:30 at Detroit Federal Courthouse! I'm can't wait!

  2. Thank you to those why replied my previous posts, so I called uscis again on 5/19, right on the day that marks 30 days of my interview being scheduled. The officer that I have this time is much nicer, I have the interview notice faxed to me after an hour. She told me the date and time of the interview over the phone so it made me less anxious waiting for the fax. My interview is on 5/25 at 8:25am eastern standard time. Please update it for me, the notice date on the fax is 5/19. By the way, for those who are worried about having access to a fax machine, I downloaded a free app called efax on my phone and it works perfectly. Have to start studying now!! So excited about this!! Thanks again for the support!

  3. So I called uscis yesterday concerning me not receiving my interview notice with my interview being scheduled on 4/19. The lady said she can't disclose the date and time of the interview over the phone and that I only have 2 options, one is to call agaon on 5/19, that marks 30 days from interview being scheduled, to request the notice fax to me, second is if I don't have a fax I'll have to schedule a infopass on the website to request a duplicate copy of the notice and pick it up in person. I have already scheduled an appointment on 5/24, that's the only date available, just in case.

Any advice from you all? Has anyone ever obtained the interview information over the phone? Do I need that notice for my interview if I could find out over the phone?
