also If you do not meet the income guidelines or have enough assets, a co-sponsor will be required. to claim assets you will need 3x the amount needed let's say if you have 100/3=33.33 every $100 is only worth $33.33. you will have to prove you have the assets needed with 12 month statements.
The I-864 asks for copies of last 3 years tax returns. they only needed the most resent year.
-
Congratulations!!! Please share what you learn with the rest of us.
I did not meet the income guidelines, however I was able to to show assets that satisfied them.
I made two trips to manila from Bacolod City, one for filing the petition, and one for the medical and interview. Just make sure you have all the requirements to show the consul general at the embassy.if you don't have the income requirements you will need a co sponsor.

2. If it has been approved could you send me my case number?
3. Can i email my DS-230 and Ds-2001 if i can what email address do i use?
THANK YOU
this was there response:
We received the I-130 visa petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office at Embassy Manila on November 27, 2012, and sent the applicant an Instruction Package for Immigrant Visa Applicants Formerly Packet 3).
The Packet 3 includes a Biographic Data Form (DS-230I), which the applicant should complete and return to the Immigrant Visa Unit of the Embassy immediately. When the applicant has all the required documents, she should complete the information on the Notification of Applicant Readiness Form (DS-2001), sign it, and return it to the Embassy's Immigrant Visa Unit immediately. This notifies the Embassy that the applicant is prepared for the immigrant visa interview.
The applicant may also download the Biographic Data Form or Application For
Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration (Form DS-230I) from our website at http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/forms/forms_1342.html.
Attached is a scanned copy of Form DS-2001.
The documentation may be sent to the Embassy's Immigrant Visa Branch (Attn: Operations Unit) by fax at (632)301-2037 or 301-2591, or as a scanned email attachment at IVManilaAttachments@state.gov with the applicant’s complete name, case number, and current contact information clearly indicated.
Embassy Manila no longer sends Appointment Letters (Packet 4). Once we receive the DS-230I and DS-2001, we will send the applicant instructions on how to schedule a visa interview at the Embassy.
For reference, the applicant’s immigrant visa case number is MNL************

If you are setting up your interview in manila DCF.. you will pay your fee at the embassy the day of the interview.. I believe its $240.00 but not sure my interview is next week..
-

hi sts good morning
how are you.?? by the way i have some questions regarding for the appointment our i 130 was approved that's for me and for my son they sent me the noa2 with my MNL case number and some forms that need to fill out which is i did already and then i sent it back to them via courier. so my questions is how long you have to wait for the appointment letter? or awe can register online?? but how about for my son? do i have to set up his own email so that he will be able to get appointment online??
thank you.
We are do just fine thank you. we had to reschedule our appointment until April 4th.
after you submit the forms it takes the embassy about two weeks to update your records. go to https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/ create your profile, answer all the questions and
schedule your appointment. you can add your son on your appointment. you will see were to add him its almost the last thing you do before you make your appointment.

I have received lot of things from the us. i have learned if you send a idem and put on the package what it is worth the receiver will have to pay a Customs Fee. but if you declare the cast 0,00 dollars the receiver will pay nothing.

Hi Roberah!
We submitted my wife's I-130 on January 22, 2013.
After more than a month of no information about the petition, I decided to call the Manila Consulate to inquire. Apparently, the NOA1 was sent since February 13, 2013 (3 weeks from filing the I-130).
During the call, we were advised to email the DS-230 and DS-2001 forms at IVmanilaattachments@state.gov ; We were also given our case number (if we're not mistaken, this is a 10-digit number? Ours look like this: 2013 _ _ _ _ _ _ .
I am also trying to find the DS-2001 form. I already accomplished the DS-230, which is easily found online.
Further research suggests this website as reference for requirements of DCF Manila: h t t p:// manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3217.html
In the webpage, DS-2001 cannot be found.
So far, the only documents (aside from the DS-230 and 2001) that we have not submitted or was not asked of us during the I-130 filing are the following:
1. NBI Clearance
2. Police Certificates
3. Evidence of Financial Support ( I-864 / AOS / I-864EZ )
Finally, I though that I can check our case status in this webpage: h t t p s:// egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do
because we were already provided our "case number" but, this site asks for a receipt number?
Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your post. Hope we can settle our first problem of locating the DS-2001!
Regards!
You can get the DS 2001 here ...http://photos.state.gov/libraries/saudi-arabia/287373/kuos/Document2.pdf
As for the . NBI Clearance. Police Certificates Evidence of Financial Support ( I-864 / AOS / I-864EZ ) you turn in at the interview....
You can get your case no. by email the embassy and asking for it there email address is .
