My fiance and his 3 children had their medical exams and all the vaccinations. However, the Medicals have now expired. Does anyone know that cost of getting another set of Medicals? Is there a Renewal instead of the full charge for the Medical Exams? This is for the US Embassy in Accra, Ghana.

Thank you for responding. He will go this week so let's see what date they give him to return to pick up the Fiance Visa. I can't wait. Medaase.

Hello - count down. My fiance is going the to the US Embassy in Accra during the first week of August. We believe all is in place and will be approved. When do you think he will be able to go back to the Embassy to get the Fiance Visa, please? The same week, the following week? ... ?

We are now awaiting the final meeting at the US Embassy in Accra for Fiance Visa to be placed in passports. We have to purchase ticket for fiance to come here with his tree children. The question is: what is cheapest way to purchase tickets from Accra to US/California? One way? Are there any restrictions? (someone said that one-way tickets require that the passenger have a Green Card).

At one point I noticed that it took 1 week for the US Embassy to issue the K-1 Visa. Any thoughts? Any recent experience with this step, please? Medaase.

thanks for all replies. the interview is 4 months from the date of picking up packages. my fiance is now in process of going through medical - he has to go back each month for 4 months.

Yes it is true. My fiance paid the new lower fees ($240) last week.

it took well over 2 months before i got my visa in hand after going for the interview in December of 2011. they misplaced my file and my wife had to get her congress man involved. so have in mind that the worst can happen but it rarely does so dont panick. lol

WOW - that is a long time. Was hoping it was still next week! However the responses imply from 3 weeks to several months - eeeks.

my husband went to pick his 3n4 up he got his interview with those packets u have to wait for the letter to do ur medicals they expire 6 months so depending on urinterview date. The police report expires30 days

I understand that the date is give when you pick up the packages (3 & 4) but I was wondering how far out was the Interview from the day he picked up the package 4?

I understand that it is anywhere from 1 to 5 month wait until the Interview. In the meantime, need to complete Medical Examination and Police Certification as well as all the other documents etc. Any tips on the Interview? What else is there to do now? Medaase
