I miss my fiance and our daughter. Thank God we got our NOA2! It's so difficult to be separated from your child.

Thank you, MartA! Good luck on yours as well. I hope you get your NOA2 soon! We should all get ours and be reunited with our loved ones!

WAtching the UEFA competition to distract me from this process...along with the NBA finals.

We are both living in Madrid, but I'm going back to the States in July to start my new job. He'll have to wait until his visa is approved. So fingers crossed here....good luck to you both

Sorry, I mean 16 years old. You can find out from the K1 visa in the website: travel.state.gov

Congratulations on your approval! They want police certificates from all country since he was 21 y.o.

Congratulations! You have mentioned you have a daughter together. Was that the primary reason for the expedite?

Vermont is currently the faster one. It's at least two weeks ahead of California, which was faster this time last year. I suppose it takes 5 months but anything can happen. You can get a RFE, which delays the process a bit. Good-luck!

Hi there! Looks like we are both going through the Spanish Embassy. Good luck on your journey!
-
BTW, if you register to vote, even if voting abroad, I think that count that as establishing domicile. You probably don't need to since (hopefully) you guys will be back in the States by election time.

Yes, it arrived in Spain 11 days after I received the email. I hope you get your expedite because your situation sounds very dangerous! The proof of domicile is up to the embassy, but my friend didn't have a job or any connection to the States when they moved back this year. Her mother co-sponsored her husband and everything was fine.
