Our case is on hold due to NVC needing original docs. No clue that was even a requirement! Taking deep breathes. Can't do anything until Monday.

Hi, as mentioned above you must send them the originals. My wife was in Romania and used DHL to send the documents to the NVC. They would only accept the originals and that concerned us somewhat. If by some accident they were lost you can go to the city hall in the sector in which you live and receive an original copy of your birth certificate and marriage certificate the same day. Just be sure to follow their instructions exactly when dealing with the NVC. Good luck! Hope all goes well. ...
