our interview date is Dec 11th.do you know what shots are required for the medical exam and why is it necessary to have had them within 6 months? i had thought you just needed to show proof of vaccinations in the past no matter how long ago they were.

I just asked my co worker if I can take off for November 15th and they said flat out No. I only have 3 months in this job and my co worker is going on vacation that week. How would I go about changing interview day and has anyone experienced this and how long after. My mother advised me to make a certified letter and have my husband attend the interview and see what they say maybe they can reschedule it for the following week. Help please need some advice here!!!

Well I am going by myself to the interview !!! my cita is on November 19th and my husband doesnt like to flight anymore after a heart attack 2 years ago. He keeps telling me that we wont have problems because we have been married since 2004 and we have 2 kids together. I am the one who travel all the time with the kids to go to see him. I have pictures, boarding passes and the best proof pics of us growing every year !!! lol.

What relationship are you needing to prove? The aunt and grandma parent/child relationship?

Relationship between my husband and his aunt and grandma (they both signed I864A household members)

My husband sent the AOS package and used his aunt and grandma as housold members (they filled I864A)

We got a check list yesterday asking to prove relationship with aunt and grandma, the problem is that the father for reasons that |I cant tell dont have a birth certificate and the aunt's birth certificate only shows the father's name not the mother's.

What options do we have?? can the aunt and grandma prepare and sign an affidavit notarized????

PLEASE HELP !

Documents to be sent to NVC dont need translation, must be originals and yes INEXTENSA VERSION (marriage and birth certificate)

A check could be from anywhere. Doesn't file taxes is not the same as "not required to file taxes". Why is she not required to file taxes? Until you have this answer, nobody can answer YOUR question. Ask, "Why is she not required to file taxes?" and report back when you have the actual answer to THAT question.

First you need to be sure of the facts. If the household member truly is NOT REQUIRED to file a tax return, you hand write a brief explanation as to why. I can help you with what to write but first need to know the reason no tax return is being filed.

my husband told me that his aunt gets her check but she is retired and she doesnt file taxes anymore, at least that is what I understood.

She must be in her 70's and retired a lot of years ago, for what I understood by phone he was asking me what to put in question 11 because she doesnt file taxes anymore

No, when I sent the regular ones not inextensa. My question comes because I had seen in people comments that I need an inextensa certified

I would like to know if once we send the AOS and the fee, NVC sends it to the consulate in your country or they are the ones who notifies you if you need a co sponsor or joint sponsor (not sure)

I am very lost in this process.

Also would like to ask this: my husband paid the 88.00 online 2 days ago and yesterday it said PAID already instead of IN PROCESS, do they send my husband an email with the next steps?
