I am not sure if any of you have your interview from Mumbai Consulate, but i just saw that mumbai consulate September interview schedule is posted in there site and i do not see my case number in that list and wanted to check with you guys if you have your case number in there? Below is the link of the website
I got my interview email from NVC with interivew date as Sep 3rd 11:00 AM, but i don't see my case number in the website list

Same here. could not our case number too. my wife interview is on 9/13. did you call the consulate ? which number did you call ?

Called NVC again today. Mumbai Consulate. All slots are filled for August. our case is still waiting to be interview scheduled. our case completed on July 3rd. I was told there is no way they can schedule my spouse interview in August. then i asked if it is going to be in September. he said , they can not say. interview will scheduled when ever there is time slot available. could be in September or October. I am not going to call NVC for next 2 weeks. god Its really hard for me to be away from wife and 5 months daughter.

He said they have cases from July interviews rescheduled to August. Also I have read in forums saying someone got phone call and email from Mumbai consulate with rescheduled date.

Just now called NVC. same old news. Looks like no new interview schedules for 1st 2 weeks of August in Mumbai consulate. they will be conducting interviews to rescheduled cases from July in august. rescheduled letters/emails were already sent.

The reason I have 7/3 was because you said you received email on 7/11. The email always comes a week later so i put you at 7/11.
The slot you put 7/11 is the date you got your interview date whether by phone or email.
So its a bit confusing looks to others like yu have an interview date. Do you?
No I don't have the interview date yet. 7/11 is just email saying they received all documents.

Nope your case date is either July 3 or 5th. The email always arrives 7 days later. Congratulations.

Thanks. looks like for Indian embassy, they haven't given schedule yet for August month.
our case completed on Jul 3rd. received on July 11th. my guess interview will be in September. mumbai consulate did not scheduled any interviews for 2 weeks in July. they will have july backlog for august.

just called NVC, and same old answer ... NVC is still waiting to put up a process to review new I-864 form and do not know how long its going to take...... so frustating...

Thank you all for your replies. sorry for late reply. I may actually say YES and explain it to be safe. also I am thinking of going for CR-1 insead of K1 visa. only problem is I have to goto india and get our marriage officially registered. I was under the impression that after marriage ceremony, K1 is the only legal visa people apply to bring spouse and register the marriage in US. thats why I did not go for marriage certificate. I thought US does not recognize Hindu marriage ceremony officially. for spouse visa they need marriage certificate not ceremony,temple affidivates and pictures. but to deny K1 fiancee visa, ceremony is considered as official marriage. why can't wife be fiancee and register the marriage in US. strange laws. anyways don't want to do anything against law.

need your advice. I was married before when I was on H1B work visa. my wife(ex) came to USa on H4 dependant visa. we both are from India. I got employment based green card in 2002.
during I485 stage I applied I485 for my wife (ex) also along with me. we both got GC in 2002. and then both became US citizens in 2008.
unfortunately we got divorced in March 2010. last year in 2011 my ex got remarried to US Citizen.
last month I got married/engaged to inidan citizen in india. it was a hindu ceremony. but marriage was NOT legally registered in India.
Now I am in US. I am preparing i129F K1 fiancee visa application for my wife/fiancee. I answered question 6 as divorcee and question 9 for prior spouse entered my ex name.
for question 11 "Have you ever filed for this or any other alien fiance(e) or husband/wife before?" what should say here. Yes or No.
is this question regarding only i129f or previous H4 & i485 too ?. my ex got her GC almost 10 years back. I am confused. appreciate your advice.
