It seems then I can apply 3 years from 07/2012 which will be 07/2015. Okie dokie!

There are actually a lot of things you must be compliant with. First, married to a USC for at least 3 years and the USC has been a USC for at least the last three years AND a LPR for at least the last three years (see date on 2 year GC that has resident since date and that is the date you go by), have remaining in the US for at least 18 months and been a resident in the USCIS jurisdiction for at least three months. Take at look at this website of the USCIS to determine your eligibly to file for naturalization.
Good luck,
Dave
Thanks! I comply to all the above. Married to the same person, lived and worked here and only left for 4 weeks total for vacations.

Sorry if I'm a little slow but I want to be extra sure!!!
I became a PR in 07/2012 but since it was by marriage I had the 2 year GC. I am now waiting on my ROC application to go through. When am I actually eligible to apply for my citizenship? 3 years from the initial PR date or 3 years from this new one I get after my ROC?
Thank for the clarification!!!

today i check the mailbox and I got the hard copy for my interview schedule...yaaayyyy
appointment is 10:30am at Santa Ana,CA:-)
Seee a little faith and WAITING
congratulations

You are eligible for citizenship three years from the date on your 2-year green card.
In fact, you are permitted to file Form N-400 even without an adjudicated I-751, but I digress.
Digression allowed ... thanks Chris!

Agree with the above post. Do not include originals, do not include transcripts and degree copies, basically do not include anything else besides what they ask for. It does not help them to make a faster decision if they are buried in paper. Have all those things available if they ask for them, or for the interview. Good luck.
Also I believe only 1picture of your spouse is required.
-
Yes. In 1 year and 9 months you are eligible to file ROC
Awesome!!!! And then after ROC in 3 years I am eligible to apply for citizenship? Or can I apply for citizenship 1 year after ROC? Anyone know about that stuff? Ugh... more research, more paperwork, more money... yay?!
-
Hypnos your case is more complicated and seems to be on the right track finally..... godspeed
-
IMHO I believe they do not disclose the exact location of your file to make sure they avoid what you guys are planning to do. Why call them? you just applied 2 months ago?!!!??? It makes no sense to harass them when they say the process takes about 6 months? I used to work for the government and hated when ppl called with things they JUST started..... gimme some time will ya? they get THOUSANDS of these days per week.

Even though the website is still USCIS sent GC not but USPS picked up, I got my green card
The spelling correct, not wrong expiration date. I am sooooo happy and relieved.
GC is really green which I did not expect, and it is so cool.
Thank you for your help, March filers. I would not get this without your help and this website.
I really appreciate it.
Me too I got it whoooohooooooooo ... although am still confused whether I am a conditional resident or not and if I have to file ROC or not in 2 years? My GC is for 2 yrs not 10.

Gotcha
but do you received an email like that I-30 was transferred to USCIS office without saying what office it is??
and how's your interview??
YES I DID get the I-130 notice saying the same thing yours did. I mentioned this twice already in your previous anxiety attack posting.
See my interview experience here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/379309-interview/
-
oh really...now I'm relieved lol
coz all I need now is EAD to start working and to get DL....
thanks for your reply:-)
yup, check out my timeline. Also take note that I AOSed from B1 status, thus was in the same boat as you are. Cheers

it took 26 days for me to hear after my RFE was received

Hi is it normal that my I-30 was transferred from CSC then NBC got the hard copy for it, but July 2O I received an email saying it was transferred to USCIS office but don't disclosed where is it transferred to...and yet no hard copy for it ...is that normal?
I know my local office would be Santa Ana and they're pretty busy down there..does it mean it was transferred back to CSC??
anyone had this experience before???
Yet again, YES. normal. I only received one hardcopy for the I130. USCIS office means the LOCAL office. If you say it's Santa Ana then so it is. You really must try to enjoy yourself and keep busy because this process will take a few months and considering you cannot pass the first 2 steps you have taken so far, you'll give yourself and ulcer, and possibly dive the ppl around you mad lol.... on second thought continue to vent here instead of to your husband before fight break out.... hahahahahah YOU ARE FINE!!!!
My biggest worry is that you keep saying I-130. What about your I-485 and your EAD or AP? Have you sent all of those together?
-
Ok...
This is what u need to do while being a permanent resident and you change of adress.
Permanent Resident send this online:
https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa.Terms
And... the american citizen(wife or husband) who signed the affidavit support (I 864) has to send FORM I 865 a form via mail notifying the change of adress too. DON'T FORGET THIS PART OTHERWISE YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES WHEN YOU DO YOUR ROC PROCESS.
What if the person that signed the I-864 does not live with you and they did not move?!

Update
On August 1, 2012, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.
I do not remember if this online system will say USPS picked up GC or not after this message, but I should get my GC soon... I hope anyway.
I just got the same message 10 min ago!!!!!
Congrats!!!!

Oh I see it is from CSC to NBC then USCIS office...
it was transferred from CSC to NBC then I received that email...
I'd rather have an interview I think that is faster than transfer again to CSC...
The CSC to NBC is also standard. Don't worry so much about these small bureaucratic things, this is just the file moving around on desks. You're too stressed about these little moves and confusing yourself. Relax and wait for happy/good news
Summary of your story, after all the red tape, biometrics etc your file has reached a regional office where the actual review happens. Chelax

So you mean I may be transfer to CSC and dont have to appear in interview???
Is anyone experience to receive a notice like this???
No it does not mean you don;t have to have an interview. It just means your file went from Chicago to California (where you live), it was NYC in my case, that is all. Your interview will be in that branch.

I have received the same notice, way back when I started the whole process. Just means they started working on the file and nothing else. Standard notice for ppl filling I-130s especially w/ concurrent filling of i-485
