Hello everyone. My husband recently received an email from National Visa Center stating:
We received the Immigrant Visa Processing Fee Payment(s) for this case.
You must now download and complete the Immigrant Visa Application and
submit it with the required original civil documents for the principal
applicant and each derivative applicant that will accompany him/her to
the United States. Please visit the following website for instructions
on how to obtain and submit the Immigrant Visa Application.
Can you please tell me what is meant by this? Does this mean that our Affidavit of Support (AOS) Packet is already approved? By the way we submitted first our AOS packet.

There's nothing wrong with the NBI Clearance given to her. That is correct. You have nothing to worry.

Hello VJ,
I need some friendly input.... A few of you had read my situation regarding my RFE posted on August 15th.. Our 2 months has come to an end this Saturday... So, I called CA USCIS yesterday and this morning discouraged and upset regarding our process.. Advising CSRep, I haven't received our RFE results and Saturday will be 60 days.. Also addressing our Petition took over 6 months and now the RFE is dragging so slow. He advised me to call back Monday, if I haven't received our RFE results and he will submit a ticket... Then we'll have to wait an additional 15 days..
I know this is not normal.. Any feedback would be appreciated...
Our 2 months will be ending too on December 01, 2012. This is making me crazy. When you called USCIS did you speak to a human? I mean a tier 2 supervisor as what they call? I am planning to call them also. Please help me on what to do?
-
I don't know what numbers to press. I wanted to talk to tier 2 supervisor.

On October 1, 2012, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use the processing time information on our website to estimate when this case will be done. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.
Our 60 days will be over soon and still no updates on our case. Please give me an idea what to do now.

Hi, I received rfe as well but for a marriage certificate with proof of it been recorded. Submitted it on oct 5, still in response review at CSC. You are not alone.
Hello. Any update on your case? We are still on response review since oct 01. We are now on our 24th day waiting period. I don't know what is happening on CSC.
Hi! Can anyone pls. help me regarding my RFE RESPONSE REVIEW status, is there anyone of you guys been asked for NSO anotated marriage certificate (legible copy) and still waiting for the USCIS decision particularly CSC? I know some gets approved within 2 weeks time, and some a month or so, just wanna hear others who got the same RFE like the one we recieved lately? Thanks!
Is this the one they are asking on your RFE?
-
Oh sorry! I just re-read your case. It's still at the USCIS, not the NVC.
In this case, you can either continually check your "case status" online at www.uscis.com, or wait. They are pretty good with email notifications.
Best of luck!
Thank you. I kept on checking our case status. I'm hopeful that we will be approved soon.
-
wait, like the last poster said if your don't hear from them after 60 days then call,
19 days passed still no update on our papers. The process is driving me crazy.. Grrrrrrr
-
From my understanding it takes 30 days for a decision after they received RFE , if it has past that 60 days and you have not gotten a decision yet you can call them. It also depends on what kind of RFE you got , if it is a easy that you forgot to fill in on bioform or something esle i think it doesnt take long to get a decision , but if the rfe is for something which require them to take a long time to look at than i think it can take longer. Good luck and i pray yours come soon
The waiting time is killing me..Thanks!

It has been 14 days passed since USCIS received our evidences for our RFE, still no updates on our case. Can I call there Customer Service Center for any news or just wait until they have a decision on it? Please help. I'm losing my patience and sanity for this waiting game.

On October 01, 2012 they switched from RFE to Request for Evidence Response Review. Does anyone know how long it will be until our approval? Thank you.

Both AOS and IV fees are paid already upon checking the portal. NVC send us also an email that they already received both fees. The AOS and IV packets was sent already at NVC after paying. I am so confused about their email. I called up NVC and told me that there's no update yet on their system. So pissed.
