  1. It has been 19 days since the interview for me and no news at all from USCIS.

Interview went really good. The officer only asked 3 questions. I wrote about my experience in April 2014 fillers.

So so far my case has been pending for a year and 2 months .... Can't wait for it to be over!

Do you know how long it takes for them to send a decision after interview? Mt patience is running out :(

  2. Hello everyone, we had our interview on Friday as well ( I am from April thread, but I though it would be helpful to share here as well). We were one of the last couples to get called. People before us were separated and didn't look too happy. We were called in an hour later our appointment time, right around lunch time. Our officer was a kind young man. He went though a pile of paperwork that he had in front of him and asked three questions:

    Where I am from

If we were still living at the same address

If we wanted to have children ( I am about 5 weeks pregnant)

That was it. Attorney gave him another pile of paperwork and the officer was like "I have nowhere to attach it, your file is already too big". He said he would make a decision that day. So we are just waiting now. The whole thing lasted may be 15 -20 minutes and was stress free. If you have a real marriage, you have nothing to worry about.

I was hoping for an approval on a spot... But i guess it doesn't happen too often.

  4. Evashallini, how did your interview go today?

Hello everyone, we have our interview yesterday. We were one of the last couples to get called. People before us were separated and didn't look too happy. We were called in an hour later our appointment time, right around lunch time. Our office was a kind young man. He went though a pile of paperwork that he had in front of him and asked three questions:

    Where I am from

If we were still living at the same address

If we wanted to have children ( I am about 5 weeks pregnant)

  5. Did the senator help in any way? Did he contacted you back with any feedback, I feel like their helps varies from state to state.

I don't remember but did you get any RFE's?

I had RFE...Senator didn't help. I called to follow up a few times and every time they said they were missing some critical information to make a request on my behalf... I sent them everything over and over again but no one cares there...

My list of evidence is pretty consistent... And we just found out that we have a baby on the way... We did separate for few months and may be my friend's address popped up somewhere and that's why they called us!

  6. Sent in an e-request that we were beyond processing times on 5/28/15. They responded by noticing an interview for 6/26/15 at 7:15 am. Is this a bad sign? We are 100% bona fide and have more than enough evidence. No RFEs.

I filed in April 2014 and we got called for the interview after 2 SRs and after i reached out to local senator...

My interview is on June 26th as well but at 11 am... Good luck to both of us!

We don't have half of the evidence you do. We didn't travel together because of financial problems and work schedules... and we don't have 401ks to make each other beneficiaries. You should be relaxed! Go with confidence!

  7. Are you randomly selected??

What does it say in your letter?

I'm sorry if I did ask this before but couldn't remember: what was your RFE about, and what did you attach in your response?

    Thank you!!

The letter we received doesn't say "randomly". It says to appear at USCIS local office on June 26th and to bring the list of documents (almost the same list that was mentioned in RFE)

When we sent RFE, we included:

    - Official tax transcripts (2013). first time we only sent a copy of the tax return. We filed for extension this year because my husband just opened a business and is dealing with some accounting issues. I am waiting for him to file jointly. So we will bring a letter from the accountant saying we filed for an extension.

    - car title in both our names and his name on my policy

    - ALL bank statements from teh day teh account was opened ( the first time I just sent the most recent statements)

    - credit cards in both our names linked to one account.

    - additional affidavits

    - additional mail to both our names to our house

    - reference letter from the landlord (saying we are good tenants and have been there for 3 years)

    - emails from the landlord to both of us as well as emails from Condo management to both of us

    - my three year correspondence with hid dad over Facebook

    - tickets to different events

    - reservation in a hotel for our anniversary (we had to cancel because his mom was sick)

    - invitation to our friend's wedding

    - photos

We don't have life insurance, wills or Power of attorney in our names. Also, neither one of us has 401K to make each other beneficiaries, Also he doesn't have health insurance. Will be getting this year when enrollment period opens.

of course we sent lease in our names. We have been living at the same place for 3 years.

    and bunch of other stuff

    how does it look?

No waiver. We filed jointly and sent in everything they wanted. We thought we had enough proof. The letter we received said we have been randomly selected for the interview.

    does it actually say "randomly"?

I checked timelines. I think PETER D has been approved on 04/21 after interview.

    He should share his experience?

  8. Thank you so much! And everyone should believe everything will be fine, I know how frustrating wait is and how everyday everyone hopes to get that mail that all of us waiting for. I wish everyone to get their mail with happiness soon! God loves us!

Evashallini any news? You are in my prayers!

Thank you Cherry79! Nothing yet.... sent another service request. They were supposed to send me an answer by May 17th, but all i got was a letter saying that my case was still pending... Duh!!! I know it is lol
