Our medical and forms were sent in around September 12th and logged September 20th. We just got our interview date yesterday, but I'm pretty sure our time frame was not normal. The guy at the London Consulate told my fiancé that there is about a 3 week average waiting time after your packet is logged to get an interview assigned. Who knows, everyone's timelines seem to be different
As mentioned previously, I had my medical on 11th October, and also sent all my DS forms to the Embassy on this date too. I am yet to hear anything from the Embassy in regards to an interview date.
How long have you guys had to wait to get the date?

That's a possibility. Have you called the DOS line since they confirmed your forms were logged? Did you state in the cover letter that you'd be available for a short-notice appointment?
I have called since then, but it's always the same thing "interview eligible, packet 4 hasn't been sent". I did not put the short-notice thing, and only thought about it after reading how everyone else did haha. I just hope he gets home by Decemeber 7th!

Hi everyone, is it possible that since my wedding date isn't until December 7th, that we are waiting longer to hear back about our interview date? Our packet was logged and marked "interview eligible" about a month ago (Sept 20), and we haven't heard anything. I'm only asking because I noticed that people who sent their packet 3 after us have already been given their interview date.

YAY! Congrats! That's really great for you, and it's so soon! Best wishes on the interview!
Got my date through... Next Friday!! one weeks notice!

I would call the DOS and they can let you know if an interview has been assigned or where your case is at in the process. The number is 202-663-1225
If I am inquiring about whether or not my fiancee is eligible for interview date should I be calling department of state as stated above, or embassy hotline? and if I should be calling the dept of state what is the phone number please
She lives in London and is interviewing in London

We are sort of in the same boat as you, except we sent our packet 3 in a few weeks after you. Our packet was logged September 20th and we have been marked "interview eligible". As of today, we are still waiting on an interview. I'm hoping it will be soon! I know how frustrated you feel though!

I met my fiance while he was visiting America on a work visa so we never collected anything to prove we were together during a 2 year period. When we filed for the Visa, we sent in greeting cards, phone records, emails and non-time stamped photos and ended up getting an RFE for "proof of meeting". I sent back in 4 time-stamped photos, his passport copies (with his Visa stamped on it) showing his entry into the United States during the time period we had met and his airline e-ticket. We got our NOA2 3 days later. The passport stamps and pics (especially if they are time stamped) should be a safe bet.

I sent in regular photos with names, dates, etc written on the back and ended up getting an RFE for "evidence of having met" (the photos were not the main reason why). On the RFE, it said that only time stamped pictures would count as secondary evidence. I sent back the RFE and included time stamped photos and got my NOA2 3 days later. It may not be necessary for the approval, but it wouldn't hurt to send them in! It helped me

Hoping it's OK that I join in and follow this group! I'm a March filer, but I've been following most of you for the past month or so anyway! Congrats to everyone on their approvals
