My Fiancée is ready to come over and she wants me to come and get her but I am tied up working right now and can not leave....

I was wondering if anyone was flying from Cebu or Manila to Huntsville or Birmingham Alabama, Nashville or Memphis, TN in April,

so that she could fly with someone and not fly alone...

To start with was the GREAT Company called FedEx...

$110.00 for sending all of the documents to her HOUSE...

I was told that by FedEx, so that is what I expected.... NOPE....

Didn't happen.... Either take off work and ride bus 8 hours OR...

Pay more $$$$ and have it delivered.... I should have known!!!

I have used FedEx before and they can't even get something to

my house from Texas....

Yes, she HAS TOO!! Miss another day at work, ride 8 hours on a bus.... And to think you pay to have it DELIVERED to her house.... HAHAHA!!! What a Joke!!!

Her aunt lived in the SAME town and had her visa delivered there 6 months ago!!!

Been waiting on 2GO to deliver the visa and looked on there site Monday night and it said visa was on hold for pick up!!!

It made it to Butuan City but it needs to be delivered to Hinatuan, about 3 or 4 hours down the road by bus!!!!

What's up with this??? I called the Embassy and they said call 2GO... They want answer the phone for me when I call from USA.

My fiancee called and talked to them and they give her the run around.... Told her that it needs to be picked up by Friday or

they are going to send it back....

My fiancee was at St. Luke's last week and she has high BP... Her's was 130/100 when they took it.... She also takes medication for it.

She had to have some type of cardiac test done.... I was nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs for 2 days.... She passed!!!

Your fiancee needs to go back to St. Luke's and ask them what it is that she needs to do, and if they can help her....

us FED EX or UPS>. to make sure they get there.. USPS has NO control once it leaves USA..

Not to sure about FedEx!!! I sent the documents for the interview to my fiancee and they made it to Butuan City and as of right now,

the courier want deliver them to her in Hinatuan unless she pays them a delivery fee.... I paid FedEx $120... I have called FedEx twice and

talk to them about it and they tell me that they will call me back but never have.... SO...... Maybe FedEx has NO control either....

Actually, I bought my tickets before the interview and got lucky. I did buy tickets for date 1 week after the interview. We flew home together. Now, let's compare prices: If you buy after visa is in hand and if you want to fly within a week it will be extremely expensive. If you buy tickets ahead of time it will be MUCH cheaper. Let's say you did not get lucky and you have to change the date. Usually there is $100-150 changing fee... Still makes sense..

This is really funny.... Can tell he doesn't read the fine print... You do have to pay the changing fee, but you also have to pay the difference in the ticket prices.... Like they say, nothing is free...

Thank you Bumbero, I have been worried ALL day!! I was just glad that I got to talk to her this afternoon.....

My Fiance and her family live in Hinatuan right on the coast and was hit hard.... I talked to her once this afternoon and again about an hour ago..

It was started to get bad again, I am going to try and call her back in about another hour.
