    you can get a marriage proxy from usa . that is what we did. my husband is from united arab emirates and i am from usa. we tried to get married in uae but they told us that we could not get married on my visit visa that i had to be a resident. so we got a proxy marriage legal and registered in the usa and around the world. you can always have a wedding ceramony after you are married and in same country. here is the web cite http://www.proxy-marriage.com/

    the lawyer that handled my proxy marriage was named Damien he handled everything and now i am living in united arab emirates for 3 years now together. we have interview at the embassy october 15 2015 to get his visa for usa.

    the government makes it so hard and takes so long. :crying:

    Please also don't forget that marriage is a legal standing, it will show on background checks. Even if your I-129F is approved you can be denied entry at POE.

    even IF you get through POE your Adjustment of Status WILL be denied since you were not free to marry for the K1 which invalidates EVERYTHING and is in some cases grounds for deportation since you would have entered the USA fraudulently

    Hi everyone! Still waiting. I am packing to go see my love in 2 weeks, I hope Vermont sends Noa2 before I travel. lolll I do not want to have to keep stalking the USCIS sites. We are going to do a proxy marriage, this week, so I can stay with him in his country, till we get the approval,for him to come to usa to for wedding.

    This waiting is driving me crazy.

    On my timeline it says:Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between May 13, 2012 and May 20, 2012*.

    I hope it is accurate.

    Oh I know. There are not many December I-129F petitions, so It shouldn't take this long. It is Ok. All we have to do is wait...........

    These days have been so difficult ...

    According to my timeline, I should expect my NOA2 between today and April 28th. We'll see

    Oh I know this waiting is driving me crazy!! I even looked into information on proxy marriages. I am going to see my love in May of next month.

    HI everyone! I filed I 129 f December 20,2011 at the Vermont service

    Vermont received it January 6, 2012 and sent me the hard copy of receipt in mail

    I look everyday on the site and my petition still says in initial review.

    Does anyone know what month the Vermont office is working on now?

    This waiting game is very nerve racking.

    My fiance gets vacation time off in June,and was hoping to get married during that month.
