  1. Hi all,

I am self employed, what should I send along with I-864? What kind of documents - proof they need? My business is 6 months old?, got no tax return yet on my company .. ( I have only Personal tax returns for the last 3 years which are very low.. ). My current income as Self Employed is more than enough to meet the poverty limits.

To structure my question and be specific pls read below.

    1. Income for last 3 years was very low - would that be a problem?

    2. Now I am self employed I own small LLC (6 months old company)

    3. My current income is good, what prove I have to send in case i am the owner of the company?

    Thank you all, Regards

  2. Hi all, I hope I can find answer to my current Issue that I'm facing with I-864. My fiancee is finally here (very happy :), thanks to all you here at Visa Journey, and now is time to move on with her adjustment of status.

My question is: In case my income was low for the last 3 years (2009'2010'2011), but my current income is enough over $25,000 (I can prove that, I am self employed now) should I still look for additional sponsor when I'm filing the I-864?

  3. Guys I want to you all for the replays ! Very nice of you:)

Here is what I am going to send:

    1. Complete copy of 129-f ( initial package )

    2. Copy of my NOA2 and NOA 1 + receipts post office

    3. Letter saying that I still want to marry my fiance ( date and signed )

    4. I-134

    5. Transcript from IRS for 2011 ( showing my gross income $24,072 - as I understood that will be enough and I don't need a co-sponsor )

    5. Letter from my company saying that I am in good standing position

    6. Bank statements

    6. Proof of on going relationship ( phone bills + highlighted conversations with my Feancee )

I think that's all, just cant think of anything else. If you have any suggestions to my list. pls replay. Thank you so much.

  4. Hi dear friends, I need you help about I-134. I just got my NOA2 after 6 long months. Now it's time to send my my I-134 to my fiance and things are little complicated.

    1. Last year I made $24,072 would that be enough, or I need a Co- sponsor ?

    2. Just ordered my my transcript from IRS for 2011. Would 1 year be enough ?

    4. I will provide a letter from my employer, saying that I am in good relation with the company.

    4. Do I need anything else besides the : I - 134 form, transcript for 2011 and and letter from my employer ? Would that get things done ?

    5. In case I need a co-sponsor, how much does my co sponsor needs to prove for income, and in case his income is low like mine, would that be enough? Do they combine the incomes? ( mine and co-sponsor )?

    6. Last question : What else besides the I-134 form my co-sponsor needs to submit?

p.S I want to thank all you for reading my post, I hope i can solve things asap.

  5. Hi everybody, thanks to you guys I've managed to come that far! Still long way to go, but after 6 months I got my NOA2 today in the mail.

My question is: I know I have to fill out I-134 and send it to my fiancee, but here is the thing - I have been paid cash for the last 3 years, I have no solid prove of income :((

The only thing that I can get, is basically letter from my employer saying " That I've been employed with them for the last 3 years and my annual income is $ 50,*** .

Do you guys honestly think that I-134 and my letter from company will be enough ??

    - I am really stress about it, everything so far has been going all right I don't wanna mess things up in the very end.

    - Thank you very much in advance .
