Got interview date for January 23rd!!!

I called about my IV the man operator didn't tell me enything about the package he only say wait 20 days to know something :(

They said that to me as well then I got Case Complete 5 days later. Keep calling every couple days.

Case Complete today!!!! Woo hoo!!! 9 working days on the dot! The woman said they couldn't get us a December interview because London Embassy is backed up. ( not that I was expecting that) She said something else about the interviews at the embassy but I was excited after she said case complete i was a goner. Im not too sure but I think she said they schedule interviews for the first two weeks of the month so she cant give me a date right now. I will call on Monday when I am a bit more calm.

Our interviews are scheduled by NVC. Once scheduled than off case goes to embassy.

Hello! No case complete yet. our AOS has been accepted earlier this year and our DS-230 package got to the NVC on November 23rd so hopefully we will get a case complete soon!

Hopping over from the November NVC thread as well. Hoping we all get the answers we want soon. Does the NVC schedule the interview after the case has been received by the embassy or before? I was thinking about it last night while trying to sleep.

Received a CASE CLOSED today ;-)

Do you know the time frame generally from case closed scheduling the interview? Does the notification for interview come in the form of an email from NVC?

Wait two weeks!! Everything at NVC took 2 weeks lol!!

I was originally going to wait to call but I am so weak. haha. Thanks. I keep telling myself, I have waited this long, I can certainly wait a bit more.

Well just talked to the NVC and she asked if I sent in my DS-230 yet. (That means they havent looked at it yet) I told her it got to the NVC last Friday morning 11/23/2012. She gave the usual speech of it takes 20 business days for them to review it. It doesn't really take 20 days to review it right? I imagine they do it one day, but they tell people 20 days to allow it to get to the top of their pile.

What is the longest you all have waited to speak to someone on the phone at the NVC? just curious.

The first bit felt like it took forever, but once we got the I130 approved, it went really quick. I hope you get through as quickly!

that's what I want to hear. My DS-230 package has been with them for a week now so hopefully we will get a case complete in the the next week or so.

Im going to call today for an update. DS-230 package has been with them for a week so I am not expecting much. Fingers crossed anyway.

Anyone else from the UK in this thread? It would be nice to have something to compare to once case complete is given.

I guess I belong in this group sent my DS-230 package on Wednesday (11/21/2012) and through tracking it through the mail, NVC received it on Friday(11/23/2012) morning at 10:30am. I called on Friday night to see if they looked at it yet, and the girl said no. I might be a bit eager. I am going to TRY and refrain from calling until Friday (11/30/2012). Try being the key word.

I need a little clarity on AOS Form.

So I have filled out I-864 (USC). Under the Household size I have put 2 because we have no children or dependents etc. I know we need a joint sponsor, My question is; Does the joint sponsor have to include me(USC) as well as my spouse when he fills out his. He aslo has no wife, children etc.
