Yeah! Our petition has been approved! Less than one week since the RFE documents were submitted, and electronic approval received at 11:30 PM yesterday from USCIS. We're very excited!

Confirmation received from USCIS on 3-22-12 that they received the RFE response and are reviewing the evidence provided. Hopefully, we'll hear something soon!

RFE received 3-19-2012 and confirmed that original (Russian) divorce decree was needed, and copies of my passport to confirm our visit within past two years (also provided boarding passes).

RFE sadness . . . awaiting the mail to determine what is needed.

In reviewing all of the information provided, it appears that I sent in only the English-translated version of her divorce decree, along with the certification of the translation, but not the original version in Russian. My apparent oversight has caused additional delays (assuming that is what the RFE is about). I won't know for certain until I receive the request in the mail.

After waiting since late October 2011, I received electronic notification that a RFE has been made.
