What documents does my fiancé need to take to the ASC appointment? I have been looking every where and even called but I have no clear answer. Do I take the DS-260 confirmation or the DS-156 or both? DO i take the interview letter sent by the consulate? Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

Hi! My fiancé and I just received the invitation letter and made the interview appointment for Oct 12 and the ASC (fingerprint) appointment for October 5th in Mexico City, where he currently resides. My questions are the following

1. Will the NVC provide us with the "Invoice ID Number", that is required to fill out the DS-260 form? What should I expect from this "DS-260" form?

2. Does the ASC make-up for the "police report" that is required to take on the day of the interview?

3. What hotels would anyone recommend during our stay in Ciudad Juarez? I would like to stay in a safe, inexpensive hotel that is close to the consulate and the offices for the medical exam?

4. Aside from what is required: Is there anything else we should be prepared for or with? Basically, any advice?
