Stating documents I sent wasn't enough to prove good faith... And all the documents they ask for in last RFE letter I sent in.... Now same RFE again ... I thought once send in RFE they make a decision off of that... Even if it's not sufficient... I'm lost of how come they sent another RFE

Well Guess what guys, I got hit with a second RFE

Tomorrow April 7,2015 will be exactly what 1year for my case and still is pending .. With no decision.. INFOPASS made for Friday at 7:45 am to get extension stamp...

Received 10 year GC today! I wish and pray that everyone gets it soon.

I made an infopass appointment for March23rd to find out as to whats going on with my case and also get my passport stamped.

When i went there the officer took sometime and check my case and told me that my case was approved on March 19 and approval letter should be coming soon.

When i got home i checked my postbox and approval letter was there. The same day evening i got a status update text and email from USCIS.

Oh nice !!! Thanks Nevin good luck to the citizenship journey..: I just called USCIS but I'm waiting for tier 2 to call me back

I came home from work and guess what!! After 11 month of wait time I got approved, got a letter from them and a text message too!

Also USCIS has updated their website "

Phew! Now one month of wait time and then journey to citizenship will begin.

Today makes 30 days since USCIS has received my RFE, since received on FEB 10th 2015... To today's date March 11th, 2015 exactly 30 days later.. With no response from them.

Honestly I lied to the Security Officers who called upfront an IO, due to work with no days off, it was impossible to make an appointment, and due to frustration with case, make me not focus, if they can only give me 15 mins of their time

Do you have a tracking number of the RFE packet you sent? you can show them the proof that it was received well before the deadline mentioned.

Yes I do have the tracking info, and I also showed the IO..

He said then their is nothing to worry about because it was received and signed for.. As long as its received before the deadline date, and delivery date is the date they acknowledge as reply which is Feb 10, 2015... And deadline date is Feb 13, 2015 ...

Surprisingly I went to Immigration without and INFOPASS and they accepted me..

So my question concern to them was!!!

"The deadline for your response to the RFE has passed, and your case is now currently under review."

So Immigration officer said, it's an generic message they send out to people who thinks their case is outside normal processing time.

That the deadline for the case has passed, and the case in currently now under-review, a decision will be made on if "I RESPONDED TO THE RFE" or "IF I DID NOT" in my case I responded that's why case is now currently under review... If I did not respond, the case gets an instant Denial base on not responding and also base as case abandon..

That's why my case is now "Pending Consideration"

YAY!!! that's something Positive

Just came out from INFOPASS @ Federal Plaza, appearen I was giving wrong information by the USCIS call center Agent, My case is not Denied, and IO sent out letter on Monday March 2nd, stating that my case is "PENDING CONSIDERATION"..as to what the IO readed what the IO officer mailed out. Also they will investigate as to why I was told that my case was Denied, took Date and Time to listen to recording conversation as to what both agent and I had.. So as for now my case update status is "Pending Consideration"

Why did you send your rfe late ..... Could that be d reason for denial ..., I'm worried cuz I filed waiver but used a lawyer

It was due on Feb 13,2015... So I sent out on 02/09 and they received 02/10 .. 3 days before due date.. I don't think its because of late RFE, because it's not consider late until it's after the due date from what IMmigration Officer and opinion from lawyer told me... Did you get RFE also?

You didn't respond the RFE on time, so ROC is denied. You received it 10/22 and responded 2/9. The RFE clearly states how long you have to send documents back. Good luck

RFE letter said respond before or by due date feb 13 not after 02/13, ... I sent out on 02/09 and was Received 02/10...so they did get it on time before deadline date 02/13.... Even if received on deadline day they still accept.. Anything after is not and consider into denial... Also may I remind everyone my i-751 is filed with waiver.. I am divorce

When you failed to respond to RFE on time, they consider you abandoned your case and deny.

Maybe they misplaced his RFE response or something. Let's see the reason of denial on the letter...

Called USCIS and spoke to Tier2.. Was told Denied, have to wait for letter to tell exactly why I was Denied
