I am confused over the AOS procedure. My husband has paid the AOS fee online , when we click on the link for further AOS processing it says the AOS should only be completed if the NVC has requested us to do so. We haven't had any instruction to do so but it seems everyone who applied for a IR1/CR1 completes it. Please help!!!

You dont make the payment until NVC tells you to do so. So, if you have done so without being directed by NVC to do so, there could be an issue.
