    Assalamu Alakium,

    My husband is here Alahamdulleah! He was here since June. And already has SS# Green Card and Drivers Liscence and a job. It took us 1 yr to get him here ..we were married Feb 2011 in Dubai. Insh'Allah you will hear something soon..just dont give up..be patient. AP is like a black hole..but theres light at the end! No one knows how long it will be. Just hang in there ours lasted 3 mo or so. I know some on here that have been waiting a yr or more. Depends from where he is and where hes been. His name and everything, but if everything is good with him and you ..you have nothing to worry about. he will come. Allah be with you.

    OK, I am just curious about this ..when my husband took his passport to the embassy for visa issuance ..they gave him back a paper that said come back on such day and pick up passport and it said that will go for CO final approval..wt does this mean is he getting the visa or no? is there a chance now they say no or we can go back in to AP? I HAVE SEEN THIS ON HERE BEFORE WHERE THEY PUT YOU BACK IN ap AFTER THAT AM JUST WONDERING WHAT DO THEY MEAN BY CO FINAL APPROVAL.

    DOES THIS MEAN AP IS OVER?/ VISA APPROVED??

    CONGRATULATIONS!!! how long were you in AP? That is where we are, so encouraging to see others making their way through the journey successfully.

    In AP 5 days shy of 2 months and thanks!!! =] i wish you speedy AP..this site and these people on here are so kind and helpful with me and so many ..im so happy i found it and will stay to keep updated and see how my friends AP come out and be here for them too.

    good.gif Congratulations. Your visa application is approved. US department issues visa according to per month limit. Email says that you have to have hand over your passport in order to avoid further delay. At the moment/current month, they are out of quota but if you submit your passport, they will assign appropriate priority.

    when i called the DOS they told me he does not have to wait for a number he is a spouse of us citizen he already has a number..she told me he needs to take the passport and let them stamp it and will get it in like 1-2 weeks or less..and told me congratulations, but she could not tell me visa is ready for issuance because they can not say that until he has the visa. so according to DOS he is still in AP, but they have the update his visa is ready to be issued..im happy she said we dont have to wait for a number he has one.
