  1. Hello everybody,

    please could somebody update Zydrune:

    GC approved 12/06/2012,

    GC received 12/13/2012.

It was a nice gift for my birthday!

I know the next step is citizenship, but right now I don't even consider to become a citizen of a country where massive shooting is everyweek routine :( Honestly, I start thinking about moving back to Europe, just to feel safe.

I am a mom and my prayers goes to the families of those children. It hurts even to think about that tragedy...

    Good luck to everyone!

    Z.

  2. Updating Zydrune :) (You can correct my note if you want ;))

I am happy with what you wrote there :) Thank you!

I also got my bios appointment letter. It is on 07/18/2012. Could you update my info, please? Thanks a lot!!!

Together with that I got a letter from USCIS about asking for a duplicate receipt note. It sais "as a courtesy, a second copy will be mailed to the address we have on file. You should receive it within 30 days". The letter is dated June 26 and that is the day when they actually sent it. So I think those, that haven't got their NOA1 should call USCIS and request it. I don't really think that post office failed to deliver that many NOA1 letters to so many wide spread petitioners/applicants.

    Good luck to everybody!

  3. Hi Zydrune, you need that Receipt Date on your letter for the list ;)

Well, thats the problem, there is NO RECEIPT DATE. Its just a blank space there. There is Receipt Number, Case Type, Received date, Prioroty date, Petitioner/Applicant (my name and A No), Notice date (empty). So I would think it should be either 05/14 - its when they got it (post confirmation date), or 06/05 - its when they cashed my check, or 06/26 - its when it was actaully sent from California. You pick one :) Because I don't really care, I am just happy I got it and could finally prove my employer that I can still work and wasnt fired as illegal!

You are correct. An RFE would state the requirement for additional evidence, because the info submitted by the applicant is insufficient to the evaluating officer. RFEs also have a deadline, which the applicant would have to meet to avoid the application from being dropped.

    THANK YOU :)

  4. Hello!

I finally got form I-797C, Notice of Action! After i called them twice, because my GC expired on June 22. It is funny as notice doesnt even have a date :) it just have received date and priority date. oh, it also has a notice: Repalcement Receipt note :) its like they have sent one before...

Please could somebody update Zydrune in CSC. I would think NOA date should be 06/26 as that is when it was sent from California.

    No BIO letter yet.

And one more question - on the same letter there is written "If you have not allready done so, please provide supporting documents..." and it just list documents that we have allready sent them. So i suppose that does not mean RFE? RFE is a separate letter, asking for additional documents, right? I think I am getting parranoid :/

  5. Just got off the phone with USCIS representative. I can not believe, but CSC haven't even sent my NOA1 yet! I submitted my file May 11, they cashed chec June 6. My GC expires June 22 and my employer wants to see letter... Rep said I shouldn't worry, because cashing check shows that everything is in progress. He gave me case numbers and told me to be patient. Easy to say :(

  6. No NOA1, no biometrics letter :(CSC got my file on 05/14, cashed my check on 06/05 and that is it. Well, at least I know they have my file and opened it. I wanted to call them, but just read how long it took zenaxe to get NO information whatsoever and decided to wait untill Friday, too. I don't think I will even be excited to get those letters... I am so tired of checking my mailbox everyday and not finding what I supposed to got long time ago. Sorry for venting out here :(

  7. Hi evertbody,

I am reading here that most of the time people get confirmation letter and checks cleared within a few days. I have sent my case 05/11 and I have delivery confirmation on 05/14 but theres been a week of silence - no letter from USCIS, money is still in my account. I am affraid they lost my file on just put it in a drawer and forgot about it :(

Does anybody been in that kind of situation? Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

  8. I had the same situation - travel abroad during 90 days period. I have waited until I am back. My GC expires 06/22/2012 and I traveled 04/06/2012-04/28/2012. So I have just got back home and will file my packet this week. Went through all the customs in Poland, Denmark, Lithuania and USA with no problems! I would say wait until you come back if your GC will still be valid on the day you enter back to US.

  9. I'm also in the same situation - my GC expires on October 12, but I'll be returning from New Zealand on October 3. I'm going to apply long before that, in July, but is there a chance I might not be let back in so close to my GC expiring? How do they know I've applied to remove the conditions but don't have the 10 year GC yet?

I think you will be fine, if you file in July and will travel in October. If you will have your biometrics (hopefully no interview) done by your travel time, you will have extension for your green card for one year and all you have to do is take that letter with your expired GC. But if you will be back by the time your GC expires, you have nothing to worry about. Anyway, I will post my experience after I come back on April 28 as I will file just after I come back.

  10. Hello,

Does anybody know if there are any restrictions to travel within 90 days, before filling I-751?

My GC expires June 22,2012. We are leaving (ORD, Chicago) to visit my family April 6. My husband will be back Apr 13, me and our daughter (US citizen) are staying until Apr 28 (there are certain reasons why we are doing this at this time). My 90 days period starts March 24, but I thought since I will be away for a while, it is better to file as we come back. That way I can include our travel papers and pictures into file. I am also concerned, that if we will have to go for biometrics appointment, I will still be in Lithuania and we would have to reschedule.

Or is it better to file March 24?

I would really appreaciate if somebody would share their experiance on the matter or maybe knows what it is better. I am just so confused...

    Thank you!
