  1.               Hi Friends, My PD is Aug 14, 2006. I know I still have time to wait but I am sick of waiting ,

Can you roughly tell me ;  when I may get my WL and start paying the fees and getting my document for  the interview.

Also How long does it take from WL to entry to USA

    Thanks in Advance

  2. It depends.

If your sister had filed for your mom then it would have taken between 8 and 12 months for your mom to get a visa and immigrate to the US. Your mom could have then filed for you. Adding a year would mean your priority date would be in 2007. How old were you in June, 2010? If you were under 21 then your priority date would have been current for an F2A visa, and would have remained current for about six months before the cutoff dates retrogressed in early 2011. If you'd gotten a visa application submitted during that window then you would have gotten a visa.

On the other hand, if you were over 21 (CSPA adjusted) in June of 2010 then you still would have had years before your priority date was due to be current. As it stands now it will still be about 4 more years before an F2B priority date in 2007 will be current.

FWIW, F4 cutoff dates have been moving quite slowly since the retrogression. They've only advanced 10 months in the past 15 calendar months. If they keep moving at this rate then it will be more than 6 years before your priority date is current.

Thanks for long explanations I really appriciate it...

  3. I am new to this forum and learning. My petitioner applied for f4 and my PD is 2006.Now they they are processing PD 2000 That means I got 6 years more.

I figure out that my sister, who is a citizen, could have petition for my mother first. It takes only a year for my mom to get her permanent resident and my mom would have petition f2b for me that would take 5 or 6 years and today ı would have my gc at hand. This is what I figured please someone tell me if this is true?I am unmarried over 21 male.

  4. you can call NVC at 603-334-0700 and provide the email address of the petitioner(your sister)and beneficiary(yourself)and all the future correspondence will be online only..no need of any physical address..

    Good Luck..

USCIS has my email and emailed me to notify me that my case was sent to NBC in March 2009 but NVC mailed me the envelope and no email. That is intresting. I will call them and let them know my e mail..Thanks:)

  5. there is nothing you have to do for now, the NVC will contact your sister.

I apriciate your answers indeed. Here is another issue: MY adress in istanbul changed and this makes me worry. What if they send something?!!NVC sent one in 2009 teling no visa numbers available...

I wanted to change it at USCIS web page profile but I couldnt becasue it was only set for american states and adresses.

What should I or my petitioner do?

    Thanks in advance:)

Oh I forgot to tell,Durig my stay,I had student visa and I had SSN without work permit but I worked and paid tax and get tax refund back:)) Would this be a problem in the future???

  6. Hello to everyone,I am very hapy to find this community.Let me tell you some about my case.

I studied some in the USA ,left the school and overstayed my visa more than one year.I lived in the state for almost 4 year between 2000 and 2004 than left the country at my will.

My sister got married and got her citizenship and applied for F4 for me.My PD is AUG 2006.

On the gov.immigration web page, I opened online account with these case number and have my username and password so I can check it.

Please correct me if wrong but since my PD is aug2006,I expect my gc in 2016.What do you think?

Since 2009 envelope from NVC nothing happened,is it ok?
