  1. Hi everybody,

Please take a few moments to visit my fundraising website for donating to a great cause in Chicago.

Girls in the Run - 5K Marathon

to help girls in low income neighborhoods and in poverty get scholarships and a great education.

Please click on either of the two links to read more about me and the cause I'm running for!

BOTH LINKS LEAD TO THE SAME FUNDRAISER. (So if you are donating do not donate twice - only once on either website)

    Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!

If you have any questions feel free to message me and ask!

    :)

  2. Now that our AOS has been approved and my husband has his GC, what can I keep in mind over the next year and a half or so to be ready for when he will remove his conditions?

Is there anything I should be aware of such as having both our names on bank accounts, etc?

** Also, does he have to reapply for his employment card, even though he has the GC?

    Thanks!

  3. GOOD NEWS, I think?

I sent in a service request late January and got a response February 4th with that automated email they send out saying "be patient".

Kept calling in but no good news, they just kept saying they were working on July files, yet I submitted June 13th, and they sent us to Cali Service Center July 7th.

Now, dont know if this possibly helped, but April 4th I contacted ####### Durbin through the online generic form, faxed over the form allowing them to inquiry USCIS with our information, and a copy of his I-797C notice. No response by email, phone, etc.

Yesterday, April 10th I got an email from USCIS with status of Card/ Document Production, at midnight I got an email saying status is Decision, then a few hours ago back to status of, Card/ Document Production...

So I guess this is good???? If they're not just messing with my mind!

I will be certain when I get his GC in the mail.

  4. Hm.. I was looking at the CSC processing times (which they supposedly update around the 15th of the month- they did not), but then I realized they only list:

I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status Employment-based adjustment applications

    Employment-based adjustment applications

    Last processed: January 14, 2011

What? Why don't they have the family-based listed?

Even on "Check Processing times" they don't?

    Am I dumb....

I'm praying to God that family-based is quicker!

  5. Hello Everybody,

Me and my wife are trying to prepare the package for the I-485 AOS Forms and we are a bit confused about some of the information that she has received and the actual package. She did her medical check in Russia before coming here and I just wanted to confirm a couple of things.

True or False? - Medical form done in Russia is valid for one year?

Second thing is her Vaccination Documentation Worksheet i.e DS-3025 Form has been filled out by a doctor in Russia that was suggested by DOS. But in the Results section of the worksheet it says Vaccination history is incomplete and she was unable to receive vaccinations because she was breastfeeding at the time. Will she need to still go see a Civil surgeon here in the US or this information, If you are K-1 fiancee or K-2 dependent who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant fiancee visa, you only need to submit a vaccination supplement, not the entire medical report. You may include the vaccination supplement with your I-485, is correct and we only need the DS-3025 (Vaccination Documentation Worksheet) Form. All valid and accurate info is welcomed. Thanks for your time everybody.

    Yozhik

    I second this question...

and ALSO, what about the Xray of my fiance's lungs? Do I send that in as well with the AOS package?

  6. Hi all,

So my fiance is waiting to recieve his packet #3 from the embassy, and they have sent it out a few days ago.

A week and a half ago I sent my fiance the I134, but it STILL did not leave the states. I filed a claim with the US post office for them to "find it", in the meantime I sent him another original copy of it with the required documents. However - if he gets called to the interview before he gets these papers....is he allowed to print out these documents as I would scan them to him and send through email? IM GETTING SO NERVOUS!

  7. My Intent to Marry letter is dated February 22nd, 2012... I have been sending my foreign fiance all documents needed for his interview, but did not send him a updated version of this letter.

Should I reprint a copy sign and date it for mid march? - Any suggestions?

Also, would I be able to scan him over a copy? Or must this be an original?
