  1. The fee for the I-129F is $340. For the petition you need to send evidence that you have met in the last 2 years. Passport visa stamps, copies of boarding passes, photos etc. You need to make sure you send primary evidence (the passport stamps and boarding passes, receipts from the places you visited together, etc) although secondary evidence (photos) can be helpful also. All of the chat logs, photo albums, etc. will be needed at the interview to show proof of ongoing relationship. All that is required for the petition is concrete evidence of having met in person in the last 2 years.

Read the guides http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide and good luck!

Also, complete your profile. It will be easier to help when people can see your fiance's country and other things from your profile.

Thank you so much for the information. I truly appreciate it as I've been feeling kinda lost with all the acronyms etc. Just getting used to that a bit. I filled out my profile as best I could for now.

  2. Hi there, we are just starting out on this journey. I want to clarify something if I may. I've been reading everything here that I can. but I am a little fuzzy about something. When I send in my i-129f am I supposed to send in all my evidence like photo's, receipts and call logs. The reason I am confused is because I was thinking that my fiancee should be bringing that on his interview...or do I send it and he brings it as well. Also, I can't see where to find the fee schedule so that I send the right amount of money. Any info is appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

  3. Yep! I sure would! Never would have thought he was younger than me! Just so happen he was. As a matter of fact everyone thinks he is the older one robbing the cradle. Dad ask him was I I8! hAhA!

I can understand that. I am considerably older than my fiancee and people think he is older than me or at least my age. The age difference bothered me at first but when I actually met him face to face that all disappeared.

I appear to be younger than I am as when I am with my son, people think he's my husband...lol I love it...Him? not so much!!

  4. Hi I just returned this past Saturday from Ghana. I only went for 4 days :/ but at least we got to meet in person. Since the Ghana Consulate website said I would need a yellow fever certificate, I did get one. When I was going through at the ACC airport, the women helping me was about to slide the card out of my passport but got distracted by another worker and never did look. I think it is a good idea to get it as I imagine it would be trouble if you didn't have it and they did check. Also, remember to get it at least 10 days before your scheduled visit.

Also, I didn't realize it but I should have been taking medicine for Malaria (before, during and after your trip). Well thankfully I didn't get any mesquito bites so I hope I am safe.
