Hi All-

I have my interview scheduled for November 5th and am organizing all required documentation and I have a question-

I did electronic processing, so have a copy of my DS-260. I read somewhere that this is not enough for the interview, and you need to also have the DS-230 part 1 & 2. Is this true?

Is there anything else I should know before I go? Always so thankful for any tips and shared experience...

My husband and I are awaiting the scheduling of our interview in Montreal, Canada (we both live together outside of the US) and we have just moved homes within the same city. How do we go about changing our address with the NVC?

My husband and I have received our NOA1 and are waiting patiently for #2. We are trying to plan our vacation time for upcoming months and need to take our interview into consideration. We both live in Calgary, and I have a few questions:

-Does our interview have to take place at the Montreal Consulate?

-Do we schedule our own interview or will they tell us when it will be?

-How long after our NOA2 should we expect our interview to be?

-Does he (the USC) need to be at the interview?

Hi All-

My husband and I sent our I-130 to chicago on Monday, March 12th, and our tracking number showed that it was received on Thursday, March 15th. We have yet to hear ANYTHING from USCIS, even thought we included form G-1145. Is this normal or should we be concerned?!

My husband and I currently live in Canada and have just started the process for an IR-1 visa for me, however we already had a trip to Vegas booked in August...how can we make sure we are able to go?! Can I travel into the US during this process?

Forget the K3. It's been virtually unobtainable for the past two years. IR1 is the visa for you.

Thanks for that...can we still do the DCF? If so, where? The information we've found is contradictory and we are extremely overwhelmed by all of this. We don't have the time to waste trying to figure this out and need to be in the US as soon as possible.

My husband and I were married in Canada just over 2 years ago....he is a US citizen and I am Canadian. We currently live in Calgary, Canada but are interested in moving back to the states in the next year. We'd like to start this process and are looking for suggestions and recommendations of how is best to go about it?! What works, what doesn't, what's frustrating, what forms do we need, etc.?
