    I just received a I-797, Notice of Action and it says that our petiton has been approved and forwarded to the listed consulate (but there is no consulate listed anywhere on the notice). Does anyone know anything about this form? I tried to post on a forum but am unable to figure out how that works so hoping someone reads this post and can help answer my question. Thanks.

      Click on FORUMS at the top then click on FIANCE then post a topic. and yes it does not say consulate but you know it stops at the nvc to get a case number. so call NVC everyday and ask for your case number and when they forward it to the embassy

      Well its going to make a quick stop by NVC and then they will send it to the consulate in your fiance's home country where she/he will have the interview. Good luck!
