  1. My interview is at 7:15am in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At the consulate website they say I need to plan to stay a whole morning there. Because her interview is in the afternoon ,. I would say the consulate is more busy at this time. Just hang on, she will have good news pretty soon.

Thank you. I'm hanging on. I'm sure it's more stressful to be the one there waiting than it is to be on this side waiting. After all, as soon as she gets out of there, she gets to enjoy pairs!

  2. My wife is in Paris at the embassy right now for her interview. The interview was at 1:00 PM local time and she hasn't made it back to the hotel yet. It's been just over 3 hours and the hotel (with her phone) is about 20 minutes away. Of course I'm excited and nervous! I thought that she would be out of the embassy by now. Any idea how long to expect her to be at the embassy for?

The process would be much less stressful for her and I if they allowed phones in the waiting area.

    Thank you!

  3. Perhaps the NOA2 comes so fast because the embassy takes a LONG time for the interview? It looks like most of the NOA2's for Haiti come super fast but the interview takes many months - putting the full process in the same time frame as most people.

    Here's the overall view....
