Got our Case Number from NVC! Now waiting to get the paperwork and fee's going!

Still.Waiting. USCIS come on with my husband's NOA2! I'm living in India with him for gosh sakes! This isn't a marriage of convenience or a fake, quite obviously! ::sigh::

We got his Passport and Visa Packet today!!! Visa's good till Feb 2013 but we'll be home by mid December! We're going HOME!!! Thank you VJ for all your wonderful help!

Still waiting to hear back from NVC but thankful we finally have some movement on our case!

Well...it's official! We've bought our airline tickets and will be home in time for Christmas! Thank you VJ'ers...your help kept me sane!

Hi Sunny...yeah that one bothered me too so I called the NVC just to confirm. If your letter says that the FEE is paid, then no further payment is required. Our said the same thing and the hubby didn't have to pay any fee. Although he did take in 500 rupees with him just in case he needed a snack! Good luck on your wife's Interview!!!

We are still waiting to receive his passport and Visa. However, he did get confirmation today that his passport has left the Embassy and is on it's way to the Pune location. He also received an email verifying this and gave the address location of where it's going. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be delivering to our home address and rather are sending it to a government location here in Pune that we will have to go to pick up his passport and Visa.

Got our Interview date but the checklist is STILL saying that we have something missing in the financial documents section! ARGH!

And another RFE for my Mom's signature on the I-864! UGH! This was done on the original one NVC!!!

Lawyer has got with NVC and found that they wanted my Dad to be Primary Joint Sponsor...first in his knowledge as Immigration Lawyer...we're back on track.

Got an Email from NVC for RFE...but I already SENT everything they are asking for!!

Oh USCIS...why did you change that freaking 5 month status to a DATE that isn't MINE???

Hey...it's been a while since I've heard anything from you. Did your wife get her passport and Visa?

Hey...call that number you gave us! It's what my husband called and that is how he found out that his passport was "in-transit" and "ready for pickup".

We're having the same problem tracking the passport. We called a number but it's not accepting his UID as the right number. What telephone number did your wife use to track her's? Here's the number we tried: 91 120 6602222.

Hey, has your wife received her Passport and Visa back yet? How long did it take and did it go to her home address or did she have to pick it up? Also...how long was her temp visa for? I'm trying to be patient over here waiting but I won't feel totally relaxed till he has his Passport and Visa in his hands! LOL

My Husband got approved and I see your wife got approved as well!!! Happy days!!

OMG! 8 hours! I thought our 3 1/2 hour trip both ways was bad! Agreed...not updating their website in a timely manner is a huge issue. Better yet, let us know about pending changes in advance so we can prepare! Not the DAY OF changes!
