  1. As I stated before I received emails last week of "Card Production" , "Registered Permanent Resiendent Status" & "The Approval Of My Husband I-130 For Me" but I haven't received anything pertaining to my 2 kids. Online it says there case status is still at Testing & Interview  , I know they usually send everything together or a few days apart, but is there anything I should be worried about? Or I just need a wait?

  2. As I posted before my husband petitioned for my 2 kids and myself and we had our interview on Wednesday & we didn't get a decision on the spot and today I received an email that "we ordered production for your new card" , I am so excited, I'm Thankful and greatful to GOD, NOT to get religious but if you believe in GOD or not, Prayer works!!!! But I wish each and everyone the best in their naturalization process. :D

  3. Had our AOS interview yesterday in NYC, my husband petitioned for my two children and I. We arrived to the interview at 7:26 checked in and everything, we waited for about two hours then was called in around 9:20ish. Our IO was calm he greeted us with a good morning , then escorted us & our lawyer to his office. Before we sat he sworn us in and then we sat. He had our files on his table then he started going through them checking our passports he took the 3 I-94's and stapled them to each of our files he looked at our EAD cards then put them in our passports, he went through our files for a bit then he said "this is the test part of the interview to make sure this marriage isn't just on paper" he handed my husband and I two sheets of papers with questions to answer and he let me switch seats with on of my kids while my husband I answered the questions, the questions were about each other phones numbers (which he said we can go into our phones and get them) how many tvs, what did we eat for dinner, when was the last celebration we attended, what we wore to bed, how many computers, did we shower last night and this morning, there were about 10 questions, then he took the paper and reviewed the questions we messed up and 2 I think but she folded the papers and said we passed that with flying colors, my kids were only asked about there school, both my kids are 18+. Then he asked us about 15-20 terrorist questions, if we ever assisted anyone with guns, if we've ever been arrested and so on. then he said well this interview is complete do you have any questions for me? We said no, he then asked for a photo from our album where my husband and i were facing the camera & added it to our file,(he didn't go through our album though) And my lawyer asked if he was able to stamp our passports he said no and something about review and some security checks and then we should receive a decision in about 2-3 weeks and if we don't hear back by then make an info pass.Ive read it's pretty normal to not get a decision right away, so I shouldn't be worried right? Because the interview went pretty well, he even shook our hands when we left.

  5. I know with the new immigration laws the CSC has been swamped.... but I was hoping the "average wait 5 months" would be me. Do you know if you can call them and get a real person?

I'm not sure if you can get directly through to CSC,I called USCIS In Feb and they guy said he would put in a service request, after he did so I Recieved a letter that they forwarded my service request to CSC & to this day nothing has change,I called last week and I spoke to a lady & she told me that everything is still in initial review and we should just wait it out,I pray that we get approved soon and not transferred after this long

  6. I don't suppose there is a way to nudge the California Service Center along? 154 days as "under review" Just hoping there is something I can do to to encourage them along

I've been in initial review for 250 days now,I'm not sure what's the hold up at CSC but I pray that they're going to start processing faster :bonk:

  7. My dad filed an I-130 for my mom,my sister and I in 2011August,we Recieved our FP appointment in 2011September and were Recieved our EAD in 2011October, We also Recieved a transfer notice the day before out FP appointment that our I-130 & I-485 case was Transfered to CSC. I was hoping that we would've of been approved by 2012January ,but it's Feb and we still haven't heard back from them yet, Last week my dad made a call to USCIS and the spokesperson informed him that the case was outside of the normal processing time and he'll make a service request to CSC and they will contact us in 30 days.

Can anyone give me some insight on what we should be expecting and does the service request?
