At 10:20pm I just got an email that my AOS bill was generated... I logged on the payment center and paid the $88 and got the cover sheet. Should I wait until it shows "PAID" before I send out the AOS package?

When trying to log in to the payment portal I got the following error:

You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information.

Anyone know what this means? I mean... obviously means I can't pay yet, but I haven't received this error before, I have been receiving the 'Your case in in the process of termination' error.

I get the same error message when trying to log into NVC payment center. Wonder if it's something wrong with their system.

Curious, what can NVC supervisor do to speed up getting a NVC case number? Are they gonna rummage through the boxes and boxes of mail delivered from USCIS?

Curious... does NVC bill the old fee before April 13th and the new fee after April 13th? For those that were billed just before the 13th, can they wait until after the 13th to pay to save some money, $100 is a big difference.

NVC has currently put all IV invoices on hold until this Friday. So, once Friday hits, those bills will be invoiced at the new lower fee of $304.

ok, thanks Saylin and sheeshkabelle... guess i'll just have to be a little more patient then. I don't enjoy calling NVC everyday and getting a live operator who scolds me each time for not waiting up to 20 days! Very impressive spreadsheet btw, Saylin!

hi guys, anyone here had their NOA2 recently that can tell me how long until you got an NVC case number? I just found out NVC has my package from USCIS is in the mailroom. Curious how long it'll take for them to enter it in their system and generate a case number.

I called NVC at 603-334-0700 yesterday and it only ask for 1 option (english or spanish) and then it puts me on hold for a live person. Curious if their automated system is down? I called after midnight EST and it says something about it not being inside NVC hours so the 24-hour system is not the case.

Are you saying you have to wait until after NOA2 to fill out AOS forms because those have the bar code? So the forms they post online is for reference only?
