It was worth the waiting finally we got married last week on the k1 visa . Now i am filling all the papers needed for the next step AOS/ green card.

I want to use my husbands name but on my passport and k1 file is my maiden name. I would like to have my husbands name on my green card. Has anybody did this before how do i deal with this do i use my maiden name on the forms or do i use my husbands name ?

I WAS TOLD THAT I WAS SENT AN NAO2 AND EMAIL REGARDING APPROVAL BUT NEVER RECEIVED EITHER. I DID RECEVE A LETTER THAT SAID A PETITION WAS APPROVED FOR MY FIANCE AND IT HAD HER CASE# AND TRACKING# AND BAR CODES ON THE LETTER. CAN ANYONE TELL ME THAT RECEIVED AN NAO2 WHAT THE SENDERS NAME/ADDRESS WAS..WHO OR WHAT DEPARTMENT SENDS IT?DOES IT SAY NAO2 ON THE LETTER?

My American fiancé received a letter from the us department of national visa center. It said that the NVC approved !129 F for me his future wife with my name and casenumber.

Is this the NOA2 or should we be looking for another form ? Because there is no mention on it that it is the NOA2.

I know there are still a bunch of us february filers who did not received the noa 2 yet. I know it is sometimes very difficult to stay positive. Hope we will hear something this week ! keep our fingers crossed.

LOL i'm totally the same...had a 2 page appendix for one of the forms!!! Think how many trees could be saved if we could just do it all online!!!

We are waiting 7 months and 1 day our date of noa 1 is feb 13th.

I really hope we hear good news soon.

I am also nearing 7 months with no news.. It is getting very frustrating.

I have officially been inducted into the 200 day black hole of waiting with no sign of light ahead. Now at 201 days with a service request that I have emailed for a followup because of no response after 15 days. Now i have to wait 21 days to receive a response and i also have a congressional inquiry that was initiated on the 27th and yet here i sit with no word from anything.
