It depends on how fast Frankfurt will get the package and how fast you send everything in!

Hi! Start calling NVC a week after you got your NOA2! They will give you a case number and will forward the papers to frankfurt. You dont really have to do anything anymore but to send your fiance the affidavit of support and the letter from your job, bank statements and pay stubs. He should check out the us consulate page ( http://german.germany.usembassy.gov/visa/iv/antrag/ ) and complete step 3 through 6. You can send in everything at one time. The required documents of the checklist too. As soon as you get the case number have him get the passport type pictures(check the page for the size)taken, all his shots and then go to get the medical done. The consulate will write him a letter which will just tell him that they received the papers and give him the link that i inserted above. He can start filling it out already. Dont worry too much about the evidence of ongoing relationship. You can send in a copy of a card, maybe an email and a recent pic and thats it. He can also get the police certificate already and the international birth certificate. I got 3 since i will need them for the aos.

It has been exactly 6 months today since VSC received our petition. The Senator has been contacted so lets see how much longer it will take.

Any other January filers with the same issue?

We filed in January and are still waiting too...

I just called my fiance and told him. He checked our case and it said Vermont 5.0 months. I dont know why but lets hope it wont be 8.

ugggghhhh ... I hope its still around 5 months for people who filed already a while ago!
