I got my wife interview date today my case approve 19 June by Nvc and 26 June received email my wife have interview on august 29....so 2 more month wait

Finally my case completed 2.just talk to operator and she says case was complete on 19 june. now i have to call back second week of july to get my interview date..is that right??i have to wait for next month second week...

I am happy today I got to know that NVC has completed my case on June 15, 2012 after RFE which was recieved by NVC on 8th june, Now I am in que for the interview date..any idea how many days does this interview date and package to be recieved?

Further I strongly recommend you all not to hire lawyer for the spouse visa which is very simple and lawyer made it complicated trust me i did my everything infact i called NVC daily to get to know my updates and status. he is just usesless.

MY was aug 2011 married in july and case is on NVC stage still waiting....

Pls any one can tell me the current spouse visa processing status of that applicants who apply in august 2011,my wedding month is june 2011:apply from dallas for pakistani spouse:and my other question is:any one can tell me any website or web link through which i can chek my visa processing status by using my name:husband name and our date of birth,wedding date and apply date etc.,i am very thank ful to all of you

I got my check list today...

The listed income tax documents/IRS statements for the years marked below are missing/incomplete

(Only Federal returns (not state or local) are acceptable Federal income tax returns, literal printouts from IRS (RTFTP) or a Letter 1722 issued

by the IRS are missing/incomplete for the year(s):[x] 2011.

You have not enclosed an explanation of why you were not required to file income taxes under

Federal tax laws for any all of the 3 most recent tax years.

NOW my question i did not file 2011 yet i got extension n

From my reading they will administratively close the I129 and proceed with the I130.

More experienced members please correct me if I am wrong

As far as timeline, NVC can take a few weeks depending on your submissions, but the embassy will depend on your local policies and timelines. Good info here in the country portals where you can find comparable timelines.

well... you have to remember we are being told of what they were doing on dec 31 2011...

so the info we get is delayed - not the most helpful way of doing things - but thats the way it is.

i get that aug 2 2011 to jan 2 2012 would be technically 5 months - therefore.... they are working at a pace better than 5 months - or were as of dec 31 2011

hmm 5 months pace USCIS should b working on September cases...

Its use to be 5 months. but not any more as of Feb 21 now its change. Before its always shows 5 months time line now uscis taking more time to process i 130.
