In AP since October 18th 2012 as the additional docs after the interview were sent then. We haven't really called DOS or US Embassy ISL, should we?

As long as you have pics which portray that you both are leaving together after the wedding its as good as ruksathi. That should suffice.

Don't worry bro, AD consulate is not as slow as ISL, you'll be hearing good news soon Inshallah.

Bro, interview went well, however since the rukhsati was not done, they asked me to get that done and send pics, which I did, now just waiting for there response. I believe you're waiting on ur I-130 to be approved.

I was given a blue refusal sheet (221g) stating to provide completion of marriage rituals. Basically they wanted to see Rukhsati and Valima pictures and also my co-sponsor didn't qualify, both issues have been taken care of and sent to the embassy and now just waiting on Visa issuance or AP. It's always better if you attend your spouse at the interview.

sam7076, I called American Express and they confirmed with me that the embassy has received our docs. Tell your husband to call 111-786-111 and give his receipt number and they will confirm if the embassy received the docs

I read your husband's interview review, which seems almost the same as mine. However they also asked me for completion of marriage rituals such as rukhsati pics and new joint sponsor Affidavit of support which I couriered on 18th october. Let me know when u get any updates. Good luck
