My dad had just finished his interview in the phillipines, consul says he just need to send 1 more document, my brothers proof of change of name- which he did during his citizenship. Consul said just sent the natiralization certificate and an old passport will be fine.

My dad already sent in those- how long will be the wait?

Do i do the entire form or just part 2, item 13

Yeah easy to say. Except at this time they are closed. I have been waiting for this for 5 years. So you know what I mean but what to do?? I should have said, has anybody had this situation? What did you do?

mu husband received his visa today, with missing letter on his middle name. (the last letter)

interview was RESCHEDULED, from Oct 2 to Oct 3.

their reason is that they don't release visa on that day.

Ohhh. I think it depends on the country.

I called nvc. They do know your interview date. So even I did not received my packet yet. I found out that the interview date is October 2.

I received the case complete email today. A week after finding out thru a phone call. How long does it usually take to assign an interview date? Manila embassy? Fellow pinoys, how long?

august 13, i talked to nvc, they have not even reviewed my check list yet.

good news is, they said, manila interviews are still open as of today.

its a miracle if i get a september interview. if i wont get a case complete before this week end, then october I think the interview will be. I dont know how to hold on anymore

So the good news is our NVC case completed on Monday.

The less good news is that there was apparently a minor mistake in our i864 which the NVC have asked us to resolve by handing in a corrected i864 at the interview.

The exact wording on the checklist item is as follows:

In Part 3, Information on the Immigrant(s) You are sponsoring, please correct the following...

[x] Item 7. The total number of immigrants listed in Item 7 must equal the number of immigrants listed in Part 3, Items

1 through 6.f. In addition, you must also verify that the total number of immigrants listed in Item 7 matches the

number you entered in Part 5 Item1.

I am a bit confused by this as I believe that's what we've done. This is how it's been filled out:

In Part 3, Item 7 we have listed "1".

In Part 3, Item 1 through 6f we have ticked "Yes" for question 1, and left 2a-6f blank.

In Part 5, Item 1 we have listed "1".

So, I'm not sure what we've done wrong. Perhaps we're being a bit slow on the uptake, so can anyone give us a nudge about what we've done incorrectly?

I cant imagine what they want more from me. Im pretty sure. I entered them correctly. I am on the verge of giving up.

I think its pointless. I dont know what to do.

And they also want me to resubmit the whole form, the operator told me.

False checklist yes. (At the NVC it is called a checklist. RFE is a USCIS term.)

You can only edit your post for so long... If you report it, a mod may be able to remove it for you but it's really not necessary.

Call Monday to see if you have a case complete!!!

So the 2 checklists are indeed false. But the operator was telling me there were a third one sent 3 weeks ago. Ive been calling nvc everyweek. And they said. No problems so far. And today, they would tell me there were checklist that I never received. I camt express how mad I am.

Im so livid...

There are 3 specific parts in my aos they say is missing.

Which I know for a fact I wrote it correctly.

Its the number of the beneficiary I will support, 2012 total income, and total of the rest if income.

My problem is. I was not able to make a copy of that forms I sent in earlier.

What if there will be difference in the numbers of my bank accounts? Im thinking just to leave it blank. Seems its labelled optional.

Last july 2 2013, I received a false rfe for ds230. Because I sent i864 a week before ds230

Now I know its false rfe because they emailed me today that they had received my ds230 BUT. They are waiting for my i864.

Which I assumed is another false rfe.

Am I caorrect?
