My fiance got approved on Tuesday at her interview. I cannot track on 2go. It keeps saying invalid after 4 days.

I also checked the embassy site and it is still showing her scheduled for an interview, but no update that she was approved.

Anyone know how long it takes to get into the system?

I sent a DHL package to my fiance. She has an interview in less than 2 weeks.

I forgot to send updated letters of intent. I emailed them to her, so hers will have her original signature, and mine is not original. I did the same in my original I129F submittal (her signature was just a copy).

Has anyone had a problem with this? It really should be ok because it is not an official document.

The location in San Carlos City is closed. I checked the other locations and Bacolod is the closest location. So what do I do?

Will 2 Go deliver to her in San Carlos (and is it relaible)?

Is she better off taking a day to travel to Bacolod to retrieve the docuemtns and is there a relaible way of knowing when they arrive?

This should all be very easy but services over there are very unreliable.

A little confused here. Those locations are all in Manila. Bacolod is much closer than Manila if she is going to have to travel to pick this up.

Another question. What do you do if 2go does not have an office in my fiance's city?

Will they deliver it to her or does she need to go to pick it up?

If she needs to travel to pick it up, will they at least let her know that it has arrived in the 2go office?

One last thing, can we have them hold it at the embassy? Once we know that it is ready I will be flying out and can meet her in Manilla, but it will probably take a few weeks.

Yes she needs a copy of your divorce decree as well as she needs to know your complete address (I have noticed during my session some ladies got no knowledge of their fiance's home address or other personal detail, and also she needs your mobile and land line number (work or home), and your mother's complete Maiden Name.

I called one day and there was a 5 week delay. I culd not book and waited one day and the date got pushed out to 2 months. Now I am glad to have an appointment at all. Yikes.

Nobody in her family has a credit card so that is not an option. I will book the flight and hotel. I cannot do it any other way.

She literally was 10 minutes before the flight left and they were being mean to her when she did not have my credit card number.

OK, so if I book flights for her and her father, the airlines will not ask her for my credit card? Philippine airlines did this last time.

I need to book some flights on Cebu Airlines and hotels (Lotus Suites) on Agoda or on the hotel site.

The first time that I booked a flight on Philipines airlines, they would not let her on the plane without having my credit card. They did accept the number over the phone, but she was just not ready for this hassle her first time flying (she cried, I cannot have that happen again).

I need to book two trips to Manila for her and her father to escort her (one for medical and one for interview) and just do not want any problems. I will be here in the USA.

Any avice on how you did this?

I highly doubt that you'll be able to cover the CFO and Medical on the same day. If your POE is in US, you're available time is only from 9am to 3pm and only 12 slots everyday. Depends on how many will get certificate and stamps it could go pass 4pm. By then you'll be at St Lukes too late in the day (include the travel time from CFO to St Lukes, I'm not particular with the demographics). You could work your magic but that's just my estimates

A slightly off topic question. I want to fly y fiance to Manila to get her medical, CFO and interview. I may have to fly her two times because I do not want to push it with scheduling too close.

It looks like you are doing everthing in one trip. How many days in advance did you have your fiance fly to Manila? I figure if she gets there in the afternoon one day, she can check in to her hotal that day and go to get her medical the next day. Then, if we can time the appointment right, we an have her do her CFO while she waits for her interview. How do I need to time this? Hw many days before her interview does she need to arrive in Manila?

We just went to boracay the end of july and it wasnt too bad except for it being windy on the white beach side. We did an all inclusive trip through travelonline.com. They have other places and packages. It all comes down to how much you want to spend. If you do a package though, add a day or two to your trip. The 3 days 2 nights was basically only one and a half days in boracay because of travel time.

I looked into Borocay and honestly, for what is cost to stay at a nice hotel (an dnone are directly on the beach), you can go to Hawaii and Hawaii has hotels right on the beach.

We went to Panglao and stayed at the Linaw Beach Resort for about $100 per night. The hotel was beautiful, the food was reasonable a VERY good, and good bar service and a nice pool. The rooms are really big and very nicely decorated. But the beach was not very nice. They put up barriers and the water is still. I understand that other places in Panglao have better beaches. I really like being in a hotel and being able to leave to doors open at night and hear and see the waves.

What is nice by Cebu? Maybe we can do the CFO there and go back to get the sticker and go to a resort. Anything really nice around $100 a night or so?

My fiance received her NSO Birst Certificate today and it is blurry (cannot read name or birth date). She has her original birth certificate. Will she be OK?

She is going to go to the local civil register office to see if they have a clear copy, and if they do, she needs to send it to Manila and it will take 3 or 4 weeks to process. That is bad enough as it will delay us. If they do not have a clear copy then I do not know what to do.

Has anyone experienced this?

Lotus Gardens looks nice. Should I have her dine at the hotel or is there somewhere nearby that is reasonable? She will be there for several days so it is going to add up.

I have a question about the timing of the CFO.

If the course is taken before the interview, they only issue a certificate. My question is what happens after you get your visa?

Do you have to go back in person and show them the visa?

I am assuming that you do have to go back in person. If so, will they give you the sticker or whatever it is that they need to give you rigth there or do they mail it or do something else to make it more difficult?

I am asking because I want to have my fiance get the entire process completed and have a visa before I arrive. If I have her meet me in Manila, I hope that we can go right to the CFO, get her sticker and docuemnts and be done with the complete prcess (meaning that we will not have any problems with her leaving with me to go to the USA.

I need to send my fiance to Manila to get her medical and CFO. I would like to do this in one trip.

I read that we will need to go back to the CFO office after she has received her visa to get the sticker.

So if we show up at the CFO Office with her visa, will they give us the sticker right there, or do they mail it to her (or some other form of unnecessary complication)?

One more question, what will be sent to her after the visa is approved. Does she get a visa and the envalope that cannot be opened? I ask because we need to present the visa to the cfo for the sticker correct?
