  1. I really dont know where to post this confusion I have in mind. :bonk: Honestly, its advantage that you have read some VJers experience and thoughts. However, it makes you confuse in some other stuff! lolz. Anyway, for K1 visa you are required that you have met your partner in 2 years span right? but will i get denied if I havent seen my partner for almost 1yr now due to financial and work related? the last time I was with him was December 2011, though he already visited me numerous times from December 2010 up until December 2011. to be exact he came here 4x already. since he got laid off from work, which it is so difficult for him now as he is trying to look for a very good job. We decided that he better yet come see me when the papers are done. to save money and time aswell. so what do u think this can affect the k1 application? many thanks to those who could help me out!

  2. Hi.. We are in the same boat. My hubby sent the i-130 last oct. 12 and until now still waiting for a text/email. hope it will be this week. God bless us

We send our papers on oct 10th I got acceptance email with noa1 number on oct 16th.. It will be there soon just check your email.. :) now it's been forwarded to California service center so within 7-10days my fiancé will receive something in the post and the copy of the noa1 receipt.

    Darating Lang yan girls... :)

  3. wow you are lucky to know someone in the office .. mine takes 1 year for just correcting it..it sucks!!

yeah! It was so frustrated at that time cause I researched was to really file it in the court and process a medical record proving that your female. I have talked to someone from NSO aswell, asking for 50-60t just to process it.. but that takes like 6 months. I was thinking 6 months is better than 1 year which regular lawyers claim.. Good thing my Uncle was a pastor in our province and he knows a person who works in NSO so he was able to help me!

  4. Let me know for any updates, If any case Ill ask my uncle if his friend has any means to deal with NSO Bicol region.. i know how it feels. I really dont want those time of waiting and asking for all lawyers to fix it for me.. mind you they can rob you big time!!! and no assurance when this process to be done! I cry at night for this.. My fiance gets irritated for waiting.. so many negative vibes.. Im just so glad that im over it.. Now its time for waiting our K1 visa. If in any case I can help.. just PM..

  5. lolz... Mine too! It was male and we were all set for my wedding and stuff...apparently my dad didnt fix this issue before.. We knew this for so long but knowing it has already been fixed. My BC shows Male. For regular process for gender, You have to file it in the court and wait for hiring which will take like more than 1 yr :bonk::wacko: . What we did, My uncle knows someone who is from NSO where I was born, then the lawyer from that office filled it in the court. By the way I paid for 25t for that process..Though I just waited like 1 month for that to be processed. Once they have the papers, ask your gf to file it directly to NSO manila, cause if BICOL NSO office will forward this correction papers to Manila NSO that will take 3 more months of waiting or more.. What I did, I got the judicial papers and stuff, then I went to manila NSO then done! :) its all filed and i got my female NSO after two weeks as scheduled date by them.

  6. Hello there I would like to ask something, My fiance is currently unemployed due to their company cut off some employee on May 2011. But he was with them for six years. Anyway, since my birth month is JUNE he didnt apply yet and traveled to my country. He does have enough savings to travel from then and now, for Christmas and etc. However, since we are filing for K1 visa we are going to have his father sponsor us and file the 134 form. I have checked the qualification and we have more than the requirement they are asking for a sponsor.

:P My question is will I have any problem for Manila Embassy and with my papers? Any possible denial?cause I heard something like co sponsor is not allowed in manila? is that right? I am a bit confused.

  8. I see what you mean. The visa process takes a long time - the first step between NOA1 and NOA2 is 5 months on average, and it's not the end of the wait. If you are willing to work in your home country, you will have plenty of time to do it. However, I have no idea if getting a job after filing for K1 influences the whole process. I hope there's someone here who has some experience in this situation.

thanks!! I know its gonna be a long wait... :)

  9. I am a beneficiary too. Still waiting for NOA2. Of course, you can start job hunting now, but in order to research available positions in your field. You are not allowed to get a job now. You need a work permit which you will receive in the process of Adjustment of Status. You can go through this process AFTER you get married. If you receive a job offer now, you will have to file for a work visa, which is a completely different visa petition. Taking up a job without an approved work visa or Adjustment of Status is considered an illegal activity which can prevent you from getting a K1 visa. Hope that helps!

Oh sorry Im still here in my country.. I was thinking to look for Job here while papers still on the process. I was thinking to look for job here in my country.

  10. Hello friends, Me and my Fiance are working out on our papers and I was thinking to look for a Job.. Im the beneficiary. And I get bored here in the house.. I wanna look for a job while the waiting. However, remember form G325a we declared our employment history. :bonk: here's my questions:

    1. is it ok to look for a job while processing K1 visa?

    2. If its ok, Should I apply before we file it or after we file it?

    3. Will they question me for that in the interview?

    4. Is it a bad thing for the record?

Please give me some answer.. hehehehe Thanks in Advance! :D(L)B-):)

  11. The minimum age at which minors can travel alone varies from 12 to 15 on a handful of lines. However, you could ask for airline escort. My fiance works in the airport and you could request for it.:) your kid will be safe as long as he/she follows the instruction
