  1. Trust me there is one for K-1, just go through and click on immigration and non immigration and just search for it. I think there is a mistake on the website but its not a transit visa.

just look through all the options , don't go through unless it saids K-1.

  2. Bought a rice cooker, a car, and a new house. Also lots of Pinay Food. She wants a Bidet, but I working on that.

Things I should have thrown away! The pictures of the young Senorita from right before I met her, laying on our current bed at the time. Oh Yes I bought a new bed also .. LOL

She wants a pony? Gezzz... the closest thing my fiancee will come to a pony is a framed photo of one.

Or I can just take her on one of the farms around here. I live in the boonies.

I may even let her milk a cow, whatever floats her boat.

I had a rice cooker already but it was only for 2 cups. American size for a whole family... then I went out and bought a 12 cup just for her.

  3. This is for those guys with Filipina fiancee and wives.

When your fiancee or wife first came to live with you in America. What were some things that you had to buy because she needed, being american you would never need. Also, what are some things you had to hide or throw away cause she found it dis tasteful.

  4. First off: Congrats! Hope that you find the United States a journey as well.

    Second based off your interview:

When your number comes up again you will go to a window: NBI clearance, B-certificate, CENOMAR, and I-134 affidavit of support, two proof of visa payment, and both your passports. They will ask you some questions and proof of the relationship.

You said you need two proof of visa payments: I know one you get from BPI, where is the other one?

then you said both of your passports: Do you mean the original Passport of the Filipina and a photo copy of the petitioner's passport?

  5. Thanks! i really hope it has 6 months validity.

It is valid for 6 months..an up to date one is always helpful in any case.

since you are cutting it close, i would wait until april and just apply for an new one. or end of march

  6. If they don't want my assistance remotely, that is fine. I am an IT Support person working for a reputeable company that is both U.S. and Worldwide. I am not a hacker and they can close the session down anytime. They can see what I do or I can just watch them to see where the problem is. Using Skype will not tell you what problem they are having, but watching them you can actually see and help them. Whatever decision they make, I will resepect. Just offiering my services.

Same here... The fastest and easiest program to use is Team Viewer. they can see everything that is being done and we can also voice chat video chat or even type within in the session. Amazing program.

    http://www.teamviewer.com

Very secured too because you have to give the other guy connecting to your computer a user id and passport to connect and the password changes randomly each time you load the program up.

To the OP, there could be many issues that can cause the issue that you are having. So, if the above doesn't work with the printers and cache deleting then I would suggest some remote help.

  7. I was just in the Philippines and I wanted to take my sweetheart to a movie... Star Wars I - Phantom Menace is released in 3D. I just about fell out of the Jeepney when she told me she had never seen Star Wars <<PERIOD!>>.

I never had to explain Star Wars backwards before (Episiode I to correlate with Episode IV) It was quite interesting when she didn't know what "The Force" is. I invite you all to try that.

What was your first Motion Picture together and what was her reaction?

I suggest you let her watch Episode 4, 5, and 6 and never let her watch the first there because they are an abomination.

If I know filipinas, she will find jar jar binks hilarious, but Americans find him annoying.

After watching Wow Wow Weeee... *shakes head*

  8. When I went through the Japanese airline I was in Tokyo.

Just as an american flying through. they gave me a free 90 day visa and i could have left for a hotel if I wanted to but you can actually stay inside the airport and they will stick you in one corner of the airport and watch you LOL

now leaving and going to a hotel with a filipina.. hmm maybe a call to a Japanese embassy and ask them directly or call the airport where you will be flying into the rules.

  9. I've been looking for a job since a couple of weeks. Since I don't have a degree I lower my expectations and I decided to apply in retail jobs, restaurants, etc. I was called for an interview for a seasonal position and even though I thought I did good they didn't hire me. I don't know if they focus on experience in the states. My question is: what is the best way to consider a qualified employee for a position that only requires High school?. Do they consider my experience in another country? Also I need an advice about how they manage the background check if I lived most of the time abroad. Any thoughts are appreciated!

Just by looking at your title I can tell you right off hand. Welcome to the most common paradox we have in the states.

    I wish you luck.

You almost have to prove to the job you want, that you don't need their job.

A bank is a place that will lend you money, if you can prove that you don't need it.

  10. O.M.G.!

It was actually the other way around.

I went with my fiancee to see "Treasure Island" that came out in the Philippines at the beginning of July 2011.

When I first saw that they cooked the gay guy and was eating him then crying while they were eating. I was about to die laughing out of my chair.

A lot of Filipinos walked out on that part either they found it insulting or disgusting.

    Meanwhile,

She went with me to see the american movie "Paul" and she loved the movie. It was funny and interesting. Also it had no limits and she was surprised.

  11. TIP:

Sometimes when have a program running Windows will not delete opened files, tasks or services.

The best thing for cleaning the cache of your Internet Explorer & Chrome.

Make sure all of your browsers are closed completely.

CLOSING BROWSERS AND BE SURE OF IT:

    1. Click on ALT + CTRL + DEL, start task manager.

    2. click on Processes and look for Chrome.exe and iexplorer.exe | (If your using Chrome as well)

*NOTE* do not select explorer.exe, this is your windows explorer and will create issues.

    3. once you select the iexplorer.exe and chrome.exe, then click on END PROCESS

    4. You can close Windows Task Manager.

    CLEARING YOUR CACHE:

    1. Click on Start >> Control Panel >> Execute the "Internet Options" applet

    2. Under the General Tab >> Click on Delete >> Check box everything and click on delete.

    3. Close dialog boxes, then start Internet Explorer

  12.

Just an FYI State department do not support IE9 at this point. The latest supported version is IE7 and IE8 is still in testing. I work for them, so this is the latest is currently supported. However I did use IE9 to fill out this form and it worked. So a cache issue coould resolve it potentially.

Oh that is good to know. I am a potential network administrator. Now I know where to apply to have them catch up with the rest of the generation.

Thank you for informing us on the Version of IE.

I did mine through IE 9 as well. I had no problems with it.

  13. No the RFE will provide everything missing.

The USCIS is not the DMV, they did that to me and nothing I can do about it because they had all the power. Hate that!

When you have your divorce decree it is better if you have more than one copy. You will need one for USCIS and one for the interview.

I would suggest a few more for records and just in case projects. Problem is that it costs lots of money to get the official stamp but worth it in the end.

It is cheaper to order 2 at once than one then one.

  14. Not true. I save completed forms all the time with AR-X.

The form the OP trying to fill out is not a pdf, but rather an online form that has to be printed online. The form cannot be saved.

There has been a lot of issues with filling out PDF files within the browsers.

My apologies on the online form. Looks like the form was written in Java. I would check to see if you have the most updated version of java on the computer.

    http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

also, make sure you have the most updated browser of IE

Current Version is 9.0.4 also update the browser before updating the java so java knows which version to download for you.

Another thing you may want to try is clear the cache on your computer as well.

Step one: Check to see if you have the updated Internet Browser

Step two: Check to see if your java is up to date.

Step three: Open up IE, click on the gears at the top right, click on Internet Options, under browsing history, click delete everything just to be on the safe side.

    Step four: restart IE

  15. The best thing to do is use the true program for PDF, not use the browser extensions.

When you come up to a link that has PDF at the end, you need to right click and SAVE AS

save the whole PDF file to your computer (desktop or downloads folder) and open it in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat (if you have it)

If you have Adobe Acrobat Pro, you can save PDFs, with just the Adobe Reader, you can fill them out and print them, but no saving them

Start all over each time you do it.

Do not open the PDF file within the browser.
