which docs did you send? I am a bit confused with the document cover sheet, do they need my marriage certificate or my moms? my passport or hers? I dont want to mess up because I need her here before I give birth to my second child.

im from Ecuador but my husband did a K-1 for me but I never needed a police certificate but I dont know if it was because it was a different case just wanted to let you know what we did.

Hi everyone, I am currently an US Citizen and I have been approved my petition I-130 for my mom and I checked today that on March 23th, the case has been transferred to the Department of States, I am pregnant with my second child and due in August, and I would like to know how long will this process take? I really would like her to be here for the birth of my second child. Thanks everyone

Well I hope for you. I was looking to find out how long it takes to get an answer and it is very different from every case.

i forgfot to file my mother in law's birth certificate, she is my co sponsor and i misunderstood that also my husband had to file the 864 so that was my rfe about, do u think ill get an answer soon? im desperate!

JessandPreston, NBC won't be the office adjudicating or approving your I485. The I485 will either be sent on to your local office or the CSC.

All of our applications are sent to NBC. My understanding is that NBC processes the I485 to ensure all required evidence exist. If not they'll issue a RFE. Once NBC determines the I485 is complete the I485 is then forwarded to your local office or possibly, CSC (for faster processing.. hee,hee).

Btw I realized that my case is being processed by the NBC idk what that will mean but mine is there but my local officer would be atlanta, anyone else being processed with the nbc as well, is that good?

ok yesterday I overnight my RFE, and I just checked the tracking number of the docs and they arrived there hopefully everything will go smooth . I will let you'all know

I got my biometrics, ppl there were really nice i got a good experience but ive got a rfe so im waiting on the hardcopy to come to see what they need :S

my appointment is the 07-20-2012 I am thinking on an early walk in but idk if the officers in Atlanta will allow that :S

Yesterday by 8pm I got an e notification about my case the EAD is being in its initial review and the fingerprints fee was accepted, wow I am excited

K-1 VISA filed AOS on june 21, 2012 the USPS website says USCIS got my package on June 23, so i am still waiting for an email or a text

Alex, moving to another country and depending totally on you is sometimes hard, no having a job and being far home can change your attitude toward things they never bother you, talk to her and tell her you wanna know what's going on with her? you can arrange her to visit her family, im pretty sure she is just deeply depressed for all the new things and challenges she is having to face, if you marry her it was bc you were completly sure, also tell her you also want to have kids with her but your young little boys came first and she needs to love them bc they r you. try to get the best advisor in your marriage GOD and things will go more smooth
