It depends, if you were approved but put in administrative processing (very possible for your country) then no - it will do no good to call now. Administrative processing can take a few weeks, a few months... or even longer. You can find out the status of your case by calling the DOS. If they tell you it is on AP, waiting is all you can do.

If they tell you the visa was issued... again it has only been a week so you will still need to wait.

what is the dos?

hi vj i got approuved yesterday and they asked me to bring some other documents but since i had them with me i gave it to them. so they took my passport and said they wll call me to pick my visa when they issue it ..does anyone knows how long wll take that. ? thank you all for your helps

hi my case reaffirmed too at uscis and called for 3pm itw ..any oneknows how it wll be..its hard for me and my wife its a painful waiting ..but the first denial was useful because i and my wife were not so good and we were fighting alll time aand every visit she does to morocco and if i got approuved the first time maybe we would be devorced but now everything is good and we talk more and we solve problems together and we are happy togother but we just need to be together...
