how did your interview go?

can anyone tell me from past experience what is the process when your loved ones arrive at their destination? What immigration steps they have to go through when they bring their file first time? Especially any Pakistani who has recently came here on CR1

I submitted everything original. The urdu version and english version.

if you filed a CR1 which is married and than filing for green card than nothing will be sent in mail to you. Everything should go to your email. You first file i-130 and after thats approved and gets sent to NVC. you contact NVC get your case number and make sure you provide them your email address so they start sending you all the payment information in email.

its good too see you are on top of things. Keep calling NVC every other day. I did that I didn't care if the answer was no we haven't generated a case number yet. Yup we are ready for the interview, she goes to Islamabad from karachi this coming tuesday and interview wednesday. Where is your husband located in the US?

took about 10 days to get a case number but the important thing is to get the case number and give NVc yours and your husband email address so they email you payment info.

Now is the time to get all your pakistani documents ready to send to your husband in U.S. ...your photos and your police certificate get it all going now and send it to him so when he does get the case number and makes payment he is able to send the documents quickly to NVC.

HI, no the character certificate you just tell the police department in karachi is for immigration/visa purposes. It actually says on the certificate itself that its for immigration/visa purposes. The department is security special branch karachi.

the nvc sends you a email with pdf file of interview date and if any other documents are needed.

will be 4 weeks on 13th of march...no interview date till yet...does it really take this long for islamabad embassy to just setup a interview date after case closes....This is so frustrated when you know everything is done and still you don't know when whole process will be finished ughh

nothing yet. I keep calling them everyday to see if they setup interview date but since feb 13 when case closed no update. They did tell me once though that all march dates are filled up for islamabad and for sure appointment won't be in march. Any updates on your end?

wow sounds good! I think you should get your NOA2 as soon as you hit 5 months or maybe even little before.
